For a number of years, we've been working closely with the Fluke team crafting components for their awesome products.
Recently we've been running a number of components for them, a prime example would be the Vanquish Range (8558A & 8588A) components. These high-value products demand precision and quality. The parts you see in the photo below aren't the big impressive casing components or easy to identify grips or handles - though we do craft those for Fluke as well!
We sweat the small stuff so our customers don't have to. These internal parts may not seem like much, but getting these components right goes a long way to helping the success of a product. Our customers like Fluke know that to give their end user the experience that they have come to expect from their products, they need to get these components right.
Hymid specialise in two-shot injection moulding, but we are also equally adept at overmoulding and technical single shot moulding as well. This component is a prime example of our technical single shot prowess. This single-shot, automated component showcases our commitment to innovation and efficiency.
The component we produce is created from a family tool, enabling us to streamline production for the entire Vanquish range. Don't know what a family tool is? A family tool, like the plastic injection moulding tool used to create this component, actually creates multiple component in the same tool - though not usually at the same time. This is a smart way to procure injection mould tools, as it cuts the cost of tool procurement, simply by not needing extra tools as one tool creates multiple parts.
Hymid is ideally placed to help customers in sourcing tools. We used vetted and trusted partners from the UK, Europe and the Far East. We also provide a tooling garentee - this isn't the tool makers gaurenty, it's Hymids. Meaning we are fully confident in the tools we help to procure, whether they are sourced from the Far East or the closer to home. 🚀
