Marta Kingsbury is looking for a Senior Product Manager in California! There is simply too much friction reading a resume right now, so the best way for you to land interviews is by direct message on LinkedIn BUT LET ME BE CRYSTAL CLEAR. You still have to mass apply, because when companies ask you if you have applied yet in the portal and you say no then you have to start from scratch. It’s a lot of work I know and it sucks, but you got to do it. In 2025 mark my words at the rate AI is moving you will all by interviewing with holograms. I am not joking at all. There will be AI recruiting software that will sort, sift, screen (oh yes interview you), and schedule the second round interview. This is why I am telling everybody to land this job as soon as possible and to start a brand (more on that later), but for now you need to deliver a more impactful message to pitch your resume. Well… Rich what the heck am I supposed to say? That’s a fair question and I got you covered right here. I have a list of 33 openers you can use in Skool. See you in Skool! https://lnkd.in/gtQjCfUH Don’t be late to Skool! https://lnkd.in/gtQjCfUH PS Please RESHARE this post for all your colleagues still looking for a job. #productmanagement #productmanagementcareers #productmanagementjobs #speedtolead

So you want to hire a Senior Product Manager to work in an office in New York, with 5+ years experience in Product Management, and are only paying $120k-$150k? You need to think again. The swing in salary ranges for Product Management positions is all over the place! You only have to run a quick search on LinkedIn jobs to see exactly what I'm talking about. And when you compare that to another company that is looking for a Senior Product Manager with 5+ years Product Management experience but is paying up to $210k for someone to work on a hybrid basis in New York, it begs the question... Are these companies benchmarking their salaries against the market? Most likely not. Here's another example; A company in New York is looking for a Senior Product Manager on a hybrid working arrangement and is paying a range of $115k-$195k for someone with 5-8 years of Product Management experience. $115k for a Senior PM in New York with 5 years experience in Product Management? That salary is miles off and won't attract a solid Senior Product Manager with the required level of experience. Secondly, offering such a wide range tells me that you don't know what you really want. These companies will struggle to hire the right person for the job, and if by some miracle they do manage to find someone, retaining them will be a major issue because they'll be seen as a stepping stone. Offering a salary range that is aligned with the market is critical to not only attracting but retaining the right person for the job. #hiring #recruitment #productmanagement
