Comprising the motor, transmission, and power electronics, it was developed entirely in-house. Based on a modular concept, this class-defining unit is the first in a family of drive units engineered to meet a wide range of performance demands across a number of model lines. The high-performance power electronics incorporate motor and transmission control in a single processor and feature a silicon carbide inverter for exceptionally efficient power usage. This results in a compact package weighing less than 110 kilograms, boosting up to 93% energy efficiency from battery to wheel in long-distance driving. In 2021, the "Adaptto Electric Drives Laboratory" was actively working on finalizing our controller for electric motors. As a technical engineer on a team of specialists, I spent many trips testing our equipment on a wide variety of electric machines. This video shows the application of our controller on a light tourist bus on electric traction from the research and production company "Eltavr". Initially, the vehicle used an industrial type controller of large size and weight, which was replaced by our products, which further allowed to get additional luggage volume in the central part of the electric vehicle. After bench, and then after natural tests, adjustments, it was possible to accelerate the car above the design speed, as well as to achieve high revolutions, compared to the previously used controller (the characteristic sound of takeoff can be observed in the middle of the video). This was an undoubted success. As for the characteristics, the electric car was equipped with an asynchronous electric motor "AIR" (Asynchronous General Industrial Motors) with a maximum power of 44 kW, paired with a reduction gearbox. The supply voltage of the traction batteries was not higher than 100 volts. Cooling of the controller was used only of air type. The tests were conducted both on a live automobile highway with ascents and descents not less than 30 degrees, with full load, and on a load bench. The weight of the car in the unloaded state is about one ton.

🚗 BMW F32 Engine Upgrade Project: Engine Replacement and Existing Wiring Modification 🚗 I am excited to share my latest accomplishment in the automotive field. In this project, I successfully completed the engine replacement for the BMW F32 and modified the existing wiring to ensure optimal performance of the new engine. Here are the detailed aspects of the project: Project Details: - Engine Replacement: Completed the process of replacing the old engine with a new, more powerful engine. This involved selecting the right engine, preparing the installation space, and meticulously installing the new engine. - Existing Wiring Modification: Performed modifications to the existing wiring to support the new engine. This included reconnecting cables, adjusting wiring looms, and ensuring that all electrical systems functioned correctly with the new engine. - Exhaust System Adjustment: Replaced the existing exhaust system with a high-performance B58 exhaust system suited for the new engine, optimizing exhaust gas flow and performance. - Suspension System Enhancement: Upgraded to high-performance B58 suspension components to support the increased power and enhance handling and stability. - ECU Software Update: Performed an ECU software update to optimize it for the new engine and additional components. - Wheel Alignment: Conducted wheel alignment adjustments to ensure stability and optimal driving performance after the engine and system upgrades. - Component Inspection and Adjustment: Inspected and adjusted related components such as cooling hoses and connectors to ensure proper functionality. This project required in-depth technical skills and a systematic approach to ensure that every aspect of the installation and modification was executed to perfection.
