In the limelight: July adds four new products to our portfolio 2024 marks a year of major upgrades to our product portfolio. July was no exception. It brought novelties to not only one, but two model ranges. Besides the new #Porsche Panamera GTS and Turbo S E-Hybrid, the automotive world welcomes the new Macan and Macan 4S. While this shows the diversity of our product range, our employees participated in this month's Christopher Street Day (CSD) showcasing how diverse our workforce is. What are you waiting for? Ahead of the biggest week in fashion, we went on a turbocharged adventure around New York, before heading to Ludlow house for a very special reveal. #Porsche X Pantone is here and our community gathered from far and wide to celebrate with us. A Taycan inspired by the precious gemstone jade. Together with Porsche Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, the Sonderwunsch experts at #Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur have created an extraordinary Taycan Turbo S. A special pigmented paint gives the fully electric sports car its incredible look. The colour shifts with the light and from different angles. The front of the car is painted in Urban Bamboo. The front end shimmers in different tones of green-gold. At the rear, the colour melds into the blue-black shade Shifting Carbon. This impressive Chromaflair paintwork, presented by Porsche for the first time ever on a colour gradient, is painstakingly hand painted. The inspirational vehicle celebrated its world premiere in Singapore at the regional Taycan launch event today. After the world premiere, the one-off gem will be exhibited in Southeast Asia with stops in Malaysia and Thailand. Twice a year, the Pantone Color Institute publishes the Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report, its preview of popular and innovative colours that provides important stimuli for the world of design and fashion. In the latest issue for New York Fashion Week (NYFW, 6 to 11 September 2024), Pantone presents Turbonite – the first time the report has featured a customized colour from an automotive brand. Since the end of 2023, Porsche has been sharpening the look of its Turbo derivatives with this elegant metallic grey tone. The sports car manufacturer and the colour specialist will celebrate the publication of ‘The Story of Turbonite’ with a high-profile event ahead of NYFW. “We are proud to be the first outside brand represented in Pantone’s Fashion Color Trend Report. Turbonite is unique. An innovative, timeless, strong, but not loud colour that gives our Turbo derivatives an unmistakable, self-assured look. Teloché near Le Mans in the early 1970s. Here in a little workshop, the #Porsche team is preparing for the 24-hour race. Engine specialist Valentin Schäffer, chassis engineer Helmut Flegl, head of road testing Peter Falk and racing mechanics Günther Gutekunst and Gerhard Küchle are working on the 917 LH from Porsche Salzburg here. Strict confidentiality was required when Porsche was researching turbo technology for racing use. The revolution in engine design secured Porsche multiple race victories.
