This is an important read ➡️ our ninth annual Women in the Workplace report with Lean In https://lnkd.in/gZUMvgWk It provides an intersectional look at the specific biases and barriers faced by Asian, Black, Latina, and LGBTQ+ women and women with disabilities. It reveals some hard-fought gains at the top, with women’s representation in the C-suite at the highest it has ever been. However, with lagging progress in the middle of the pipeline—and a persistent underrepresentation of women of color1—true parity remains painfully out of reach. #WIW2023

Check out this resource on the powerhouse women who have made history but rarely get featured in Women's History Month content. Feel free to download the doc and share however you'd like! #womenshistorymonth
Women's History Month often overlooks the stories of LGBTQ+ women (especially trans women), BIPOC women, and disabled women. To address this gap, we've compiled a document highlighting the achievements of just a few of these women throughout history. We encourage you to take a moment to read and share the attached document, helping to amplify the voices of those whose stories are too often left untold. As we honor the progress made, let's also acknowledge the work that still needs to be done to achieve true gender equity. Together, let's continue to advocate for a more inclusive and equitable world for all. #womenshistorymonth

"Working from home empowers women" - do you agree? “...most women, particularly women who face higher microaggressions, such as women with intersectional experiences, women of color, those with a disability, or who are LGBTQ+, will say that those microaggressions lessen when they work virtually.” “Everybody shows up the same size on the screen. You can use tools like the hand raise to create more balance in a virtual-meeting discussion.” Quoted from the McKinsey report: "Busting myths about women in the workplace" > https://loom.ly/xvfvTJk #WFH #Flexibleworking #Microaggressions #InclusiveWorkplace #Inclusion

On #EqualPayDay, let's advocate for change. The wage gap persists, with women earning 78¢ for every $1 a white man earns. For trans women and trans women of color, this disparity deepens. Let's amplify the call for #EqualPayNY, pushing to end discrimination and secure economic justice for all. #EqualPay #InclusionMatters
On #EqualPayDay, we demand more for women. On average, women in the U.S. earn 78¢ for every $1 earned by a white man, with the gulf widening for women of color and LGBTQ+ women and part-time workers facing heightened economic insecurity. End discrimination; we need #EqualPayNY!
