"Practice makes perfect" is not a cliché. I was having a conversation with a friend ( also a writer) yesterday, lamenting my struggles and challenges in this journey to him. However, to my surprise, when I was thinking I am not really seeing changes in my works, He was like, "Are you joking? Then who has been writing all those posts I have been seeing? You are making progress. You weren't like this last time. Your style is improving." Truly, he didn't know how much those words meant to me. What am I saying? Your journey of perfection begins with gradual steps, with that one hour set aside to practice in a day. Those we envy start somewhere, sometimes back. Though you have heard, "Practice makes perfect," however, is it not just a saying? it is a doing and a timeless reminder of the value of dedication and effort in achieving your goals. Each time you practice, you learn from mistakes, refine your techniques, and gradually improve your performance. 4 years ago, when I started out content writing, I knew nothing but storytelling. Honestly! I had been writing fictional stories since 9th standard as a hobby. One day, my sister told me she was applying for her B.Tech internship at Internshala. I was curious, so I signed up for the platform. And then got addicted to it. Every day, I applied for 10+ content writing internships for one month. I did not know what I was doing exactly, but the idea of making a career out of my passion sounded fun, so I did it anyway. I finally landed my first opportunity—an unpaid internship. It wasn't much, but for me, it was a huge deal; I was bouncing off the roof. One founder took a chance on me, and that's all I needed to get started. Since then, I've ✅ completed my graduation while working consistently. ✅ worked with multiple clients across the globe ✅ defined my niche ✅ built a decent network ✅ learned a lottttt of skills hard and soft skills, especially as a freelancer But it hasn't been easy: ✔ For four years, I balanced work and full-time studies, running on caffeine and catching sleep whenever I could ✔ I had to say 'no' to a lot of things—missed outings, skipped hangouts—just to meet deadlines and attend client meetings. ✔ Been in a few toxic jobs (and by that I mean being forced to write 3000 words/day, YES) Looking back, I realize every challenge taught me something valuable. The late nights improved my time management. The missed events built my prioritization skills. Even the tough gigs showed me what I didn't want in my career. Content keeps evolving, and so do we as creators and strategists. I've been learning consistently for 4 years, and I'm still at it. But this time, I want to document it all here.

This summer internship wasn't just about gaining content writing experience; it was a journey of resilience and rediscovering my passion for writing. Like many university students, I set my sights on joining a prestigious student society as a content writer. Confident in my abilities after receiving positive feedback on previous work, I approached the interview with optimism. However, when the results came out, and my name wasn't there, a wave of self-doubt washed over me.  Questioning my skills, I took a step back and focused on my end-of-semester exams. But as internship applications opened, I reignited my determination. Dedicating an hour daily amidst exams, I sent out applications, fueled by a burning desire to prove myself. Then, amidst the flurry of rejections, a glimmer of hope! Hyperleap AI reached out, offering a chance to showcase my writing skills on an assignment. While excited, the memory of the student society rejection lingered, dampening my confidence. I poured my heart into the assignment, not expecting much, but then, the news arrived - I landed the internship! Those two months at Hyperleap AI were beyond transformative. Under the mentorship of Asvini Lakkepuram and the support of the team, especially the founder Gopi Krishna Lakkepuram who took a chance on me, I nurtured my confidence and flourished. Each project brought new challenges and opportunities to learn. I honed my research skills and mastered different writing styles Today, as I proudly share the completion of my internship, I'm filled with immense gratitude. This experience wasn't just about acquiring new skills; it was about overcoming self-doubt and rediscovering the joy of writing. It's a lesson I'll carry forward, reminding myself that setbacks are stepping stones, and with perseverance, anything is possible.
