wondering if wasted spending on Amazon ads campaign is bad? we have recently audited an account with ACOS 25% with $192,401.75 in revenue over a year. Ad Spend: $49,128.53 Ads Revenue: $192,401.75 ACOS: 25.53% Looks good, right? But here's the twist – they also had $17.63k in wasted ad spend. Real ACOS: 25.53% ACOS without Wasted Spend: 16.37% So, the big question is: Can we make the ads work better by getting rid of the wasted money? Absolutely. But there's a catch, cutting out the 9.16% of ad spend that doesn't bring in sales is a tough task. We can improve it, but hitting that number is tricky. Why do we even need wasted ad spend? A/B Testing: Wasted ad spend helps us test different ideas. It's like trying on new clothes to see what fits best – in this case, what ads work better. Finding New Opportunities: It's like exploring new places. Wasted spending helps us discover new opportunities on Amazon, making sure we don't miss out on potential customers. Grabbing More Market Share: Wasted ad spend can also be like planting seeds for a bigger garden. It's an investment to grab more attention and space in the market. In summary, even though it might seem odd to spend money on ads that don't directly bring in sales, using this strategy smartly is crucial for doing well on Amazon in the long run.
