Good article about AI watermarking. But too many false positives nowadays from what I hear from other photographers. Even if you use Photoshop to remove a dust spot or a minor distraction using the generative fill tool, it will be called an AI generated image. This photo - I had removed a distracting twig at the bottom - was flagged on Facebook as AI generated!! 😡 Watermarking tech needs to get more sophisticated and standardised so that it can differentiate between minor editing and 'generated' images. So with all the tools at our fingertips, this was an interesting one. Images shot around 10 years ago, repurposed and brought to life with AI image to video models giving the website a new lease of life and the socials a boost. So if you have a database of client images it maybe worth sending that email to reconnect and show off what you can do with their existing imagery.
