This week, me and my wife Rachel celebrated our 19 year wedding anniversary! How she’s put up with me for this long I don’t know🤣 What’s really hit me though is how quick this time has gone. That day 19 years ago where she was an hour late🙈 (I was twitching🤣)… but when we just had the best day and night, that does not feel like 19 years ago!!! Time really does fly by! Time waits for no one. Why am I writing this? Well, because sometimes, when I work with clients and we identify what needs to be changed in the business, the response is I’ll look at that in… [insert month]… which is normally a few months down the line. There is actually no reason why they can’t address it now, except they’re putting it off… and that’s a challenge I often bring to them. Often, when we put things off, months turn into years… because time flies by! Sometimes, there’s never a good time to address and make that change… but it has to be done for the sake of your business, and the sooner the better. Wishing a very happy 40th wedding anniversary to my parents! While neither of my parents ever worked in the “corporate world” so much of who I am as a professional is thanks to them. Most of all to stand up for what’s right (even when it’s hard) and to find ways to be in service and support of others. A week of celebrations. It's that time of year when my birthday and wedding anniversary fall in the same week. Always worth taking time to reflect. What did I celebrate? I have grandbaby No3 due next year - very exciting. I'm back running again and enjoying it. If the past 12 months is a word, which would it be? Stretch - keeping going when it gets tough, knowing when to look after myself first and not giving up. I've experienced them all. I've attended more networking, written more posts, felt more frustrated, told more stories, had more 1:1's than last year. What word of hope would I describe the past 12 months? Determind. Determind to make difference I know I'm here to bring. For the coming next 12 months:- I hope to cultivate letting go of perfectionism and will keep focussing on the things that make the boat go faster. It's our 5th wedding anniversary today! 🥳 From the first day Mihir Gireeshan and I met, it was clear that we shared something extraordinary. We've laughed together, cried together, picked each other up during our worst, and run a business together. Navigating our business as two strong-willed Aquarians has been a humbling learning experience. Here's what we learnt: 1. Open communication is key. We don't always see eye-to-eye, but that's actually a good thing! Our different viewpoints spark creative solutions that we might have missed otherwise. 2. We have different strengths. We recognized this early on and assign tasks accordingly. By doing so, we delegate and create a work environment where we both thrive and do what we love. 3. Disagreements? Sure, we have them (every couple does!). But at the end of the day, we both want the same thing: for our business to succeed. This shared vision helps us overcome obstacles and work collaboratively towards our goals. Happy anniversary, love—here's to many more years of making our dreams come true together! 🌟💕

I recently came across the phrase "Moments that Matter" on our internal portal, and it resonated with me deeply. In today's world, we have the privilege of high-quality cameras on our phones, enabling us to capture every moment instantly. While some might argue that this obsession with taking pictures can be excessive, let's focus on the importance of preserving memories. As Ralph Waldo Emerson famously stated, "Life is a journey, not a destination." Capturing moments and celebrating each one as if it will never return is not a sign of fear of losing, but rather a testament to living in the present. Only when we embrace the "NOW" can we truly live. On a personal level, capturing moments is invaluable. When we grow older, we can share these memories with future generations, preserving the essence of what once was. In times of conflict, revisiting happy pictures can remind us of the beauty that existed and make forgiveness a little easier. Professionally, celebrating moments brings colleagues closer together.
