Charity work is one of the most humble and amazing ways to give back to the community. Here’s me giving back to the community of the UCKG HelpCentre through our SOS campaign. Our S.O.S. campaign this year is to "Help Us, Help Others, Stay Alive". These are the works of the UCKG HelpCentre and the various initiatives that it does to keep running: 1. Weekly Soup Kitchens🥣 2. Food banks 🍞across the country. 3. Night Angels - a project that provides food for the homeless during the night. 4. Give Warmth Appeal🧤 -which supports the families of inmates who are in prison, children in hospitals and those in care homes. 5. A 24 hours helpline ☎️ for those in need of a listening ear and advice. 6. Victory Youth Group - which is catered to help young people get the best of themselves. 7. The Universal Access Point - which helps those who are in need of emergency shelter or a local service. And more! And with previous campaigns and donations in the past year, this year we’ve been able to achieve: - 13,771 Hot meals given out - 2,477 Homeless reached - 79,710 Bags of groceries given out - 36 Night Angels branches - 18 Calls from the bridges - 41 Give Warmth Appeals - 2 Liberty events - 10,179 Helpline calls NOW, WE NEED TO DO IT AGAIN!
