The Premera Blue Cross team is proud to be included on Newsweek’s list of America’s Greatest Workplaces for 2024. Everyone at Premera shows up every day with one goal in mind – improving the lives of our customers by making healthcare work better for them. That shared passion shows up in everything we do, and our collective commitment is always front and center, whether we’re grabbing lunch together in the cafeteria or collaborating on Teams. And if you need further proof that Premera’s people make this a special place to work, this wasn’t the only recognition we received from the Newsweek team, who also named Premera one of their Greatest Workplaces for Mental Wellbeing. It’s great to be honored for what we already know to be true – that Premera’s employees are serious about taking care of our members, and about taking care of one another.

An introduction to our health & wellbeing initiative, Thrive, from Karen Brewer; When I was asked to lead a health & wellbeing initiative at ESP back in 2020, I gave a lot of thought as to how this would look. After a career spanning 45 years in private industry, local authority and professional services as an employee and a manager, one statement had stood the test of time; 'If employees feel valued and supported they'll achieve more' And so ‘Thrive’ was born with this concept at the forefront. We are a very small business and everyone in the team plays an integral part in its success. Our clients can clearly see how passionate we are about ESP and this overlaps into their organisations too. Looking after our people ensures that any potential areas of support can be applied swiftly. In the three years of Thrive, despite initial reservations, the two sides of the business are now one team making ESP stronger. Thrive continues to evolve to ensure it stays relevant as a tool to guarantee our people feel valued and supported.

As much as I hate this photo of me 🫣 I am super proud of launching this amazing new benefit to all our Bruntwood colleagues and I revel in hearing how YuLife has improved their lives all around the business! I hear examples like this on an almost daily basis: (Improved) - Mental wellbeing through meditation and Yudoku puzzles - Physical wellbeing through virtual workouts, cycling and walking - Social wellbeing through connecting with colleagues about the app and challenging them to daily duels - Financial wellbeing with most users earning around £100 - and it's only been live for 6 months! - Social wellbeing due to being able to give back to some great charitable causes - Free will writing service - Free access to a virtual GP - Free counselling service We are having so much fun with this product and I can't recommend it enough to other employers👌 #wellbeing #wellbeingatwork #benefits
In early 2023, Wellbeing Lead at Bruntwood Leanne Mullen faced some challenges: with over 2,000 colleagues located in over 100 locations, some groups were notoriously hard to engage. Yet, she knew she wanted to... 📈 Improve staff wellbeing scores 📲 To improve the low engagement with their existing benefits 🚀 Find an easy-to-roll-out solution that her people could use right away That’s when her broker, Keiran Lander introduced her to YuLife. And within just 4 months... her team saw a big improvement in their staff wellbeing survey ⬆️ from 7.16 to 7.89. 📈 🤩 🎬 Watch how they did it in the link in the comments 👇

Had a great time at the The Watercooler & The Office 2024, diving into the nitty-gritty of implementing global wellbeing strategies across multinational organisations. It was my first live speaking gig since returning from maternity leave, and what a way to jump back in! 🌟 I learned a lot from my fellow panellists - Flick Wileman and Jamie Broadley, our fantastic panel chair Yulia O'Mahony and our one of a kind track chair Ryan Hopkins. Together, we explored everything from overcoming challenges to building a global tribe around wellbeing. 💡 Key Takeaways?💡 ▶ Don't wait for perfection - take action where you are, refine and improve. It's a journey. 🤝 Build your cross-functional tribe and work towards a global articulation of what wellbeing means to your organisation. Aim for global consistency, local relevance. 📢 Over communicate your offering, in any way you can. All the time. Ease of access to support is crucial. 🤲 Integrate into existing internal platforms - it's how we keep wellbeing a constant drumbeat throughout the employee lifecycle. A massive shout out to our global community of Mental Health First Aiders - you're the backbone of Experian's ever evolving global approach to mental health and wellbeing, and a big topic of conversation (and celebration) today - thank you for all you do. Lastly, a huge thanks to the audience for being so welcoming! Roll on next year! #workplacewellbeing #employeeculture #watercoolerevent #EmployeeWellbeing #WorkplaceWellbeing #MentalHealth
