Employees — Here’s the reason your boss never likes your ideas: a. You could be doing everything right, but they’re just a shitty boss. If this is the case, then I’m very sorry… Find a new employer. But it’s also likely that, b. You’re not giving them the information they need to make a decision. This is what most idea pitches sound like: Employee: “Hey Boss, what if we did this… [insert cool idea here]” Boss: That sounds good, but how does that help us… [insert key company objective here]” Employee: “uhhh…” Don’t do this. The worst thing you can do is be the “idea guy” that can’t intelligently explain how your idea impacts the company. The best thing you can do is answer your boss's questions before they ask them: 1. What is the idea? 2. How does this help us make or save money? 3. What evidence supports your idea? 4. How will we implement this idea? 5. What OKRs are we looking for, what KPIs will we use to measure success? This is how you get people to take you seriously

A founder is no stranger to the amount of work it takes to create and run a successful business. It requires considerable investments of effort and time, but as a business grows larger, maintaining the same level of attention on each component isn’t feasible. Handing tasks off to a capable team of #VirtualAssistants is a great way to shift from day-to-day operations to strategic decision-making. Here's how to know when it’s time to let go of the tight rein: 1. You Are Working In Instead Of On Your Business Consider the financial impact of what you are spending time on and whether that could be done at a lower cost of resources. 2. You Wish You Could Clone Yourself The “power of many” really means a higher speed in business growth. 3. Your Business Has Stagnated Hitting a stone wall? Then it's time to accept that what you know can only get you this far and that you need to bring in subject matter experts. 4. Your Business Owns You-- And Not the Other Way Around Decide what it is that you do better than anyone else. Focus solely on that and hire for the other initiatives. It’s important to allocate the right work to the right people, as sharing tasks and decision-making responsibilities can increase their commitment. 5. You Keep Encountering The Same Problems If you find yourself stuck in a rut with the same problems over and over again, it is time to bring in someone new who can help you take your business to the next level. 6. Your Tasks Have Become Unmanageable When handling all tasks has become too much, it's time to delegate responsibilities to a #VirtualAssistant.

True productivity isn’t about juggling countless tasks. It’s about eliminating distractions and focusing on what drives results. Many believe that doing more is the key to increasing sales and scaling. But the truth is, it’s about doing less of what doesn’t matter. Zero in on what moves the needle. Cut back on social media and procrastination. Small tweaks and changes win championships. So eliminate time-wasting activities and watch your productivity soar. Your sales will increase, and your business will scale if you focus. It’s not about adding more to your plate. It’s about removing what holds you back.

What a team can do for you? Check the caption 👇 While I have heard a lot of Entrepreneurs say, Saakshi I don't get the right team to hire... Or some of the business owners continuously complain about not being able to get the work done from their team. My answer to these situations is simple. You don't get teams .. but you create them. You won't get perfect people but you will have to develop their skills to make them perfect for your business. Yes, team building is a skill. Hiring is an investment. And when you hire people with the right skill set and values, you need to train them further with your business requirements. So teams are not hired, but they are built every single day at your office. What are the right hiring practices that you believe in? Share them in the comments below. 👇 #teambuilding #skills #businessowner #coachsaakshi #solopreneurcircle

In my field of work there the main topic is user experience. But in order for products and services to work and perform well I think what comes first is team member experience. These are the main fundamentals of every business that wants their team members to feel empowered, safe and proactive: 1️⃣ CLARITY AROUND CORE BUSINESS STUFF - every team member has to understand company & product vision, mission, strategy, goals, objectives, KPIs, product/service benefits etc. They can not and will not buy in to whatever you're selling if these things are not clear. They will be confused, distressed, overwhelmed. No bueno. 2️⃣ ACCOUNTABILITY - focus on outcomes (what is getting done) and not on busy work (hours spent). Focusing on quality and impact of the work will make it easier to gauge how people perform. Then you can have a real talk how to get better and not overwhelm people with daunting processes, requiring them to work from office etc. in order to coerce them into squeezing single every drop of effort in the 8 hours they spend in the office. 3️⃣ HIRE WELL AND AVOID MICROMANAGEMENT - make sure you don't hire assholes with weird agendas and incompetent people. If you ever feel you need to micro manage people you either failed at hiring or you haven't provided enough clarity. 4️⃣ MEASURE OF SUCCESS - set up clear expectations from people on what, when and how things should be done. Make sure they understand what success means for their position. Tie incentives to outcomes that team member has a direct control over it. Don't move goalposts to save a couple of bucks in incentives. 5️⃣ PAY PROPERLY - if you want people to think and work towards improving your business, just pay them properly. They *can not* and *will not* do that if they are facing existential dread over how they gonna make ends meet. 6️⃣ QUALITY TOOLS - I cannot overstate how infinitely dumb it is to save a couple hundred bucks on a laptop with insufficient performance / specs for people to do their tasks optimally. Get people tools with double or more the performance over what they actually need to do their job. Having quality tools also makes people feel better. 7️⃣ REMOVE ASSHOLES - if you make a mistake and hire an asshole, don't wait too long for them to poison the well. Also, make sure you as a business owner are not an asshole. Treat people with respect, dignity and transparency.
