At the 2024 NAB Show, Imagine Communications will showcase the latest innovations in its broad portfolio of Make TV and Monetize TV solutions in the convention’s cutting-edge West Hall (April 14-17, Las Vegas Convention Center, booth W2467). In one stop, attendees can explore evolutionary solutions and strategies that allow media companies to choose their own path and pace ― whether fast or phased ― to more flexible, converged architectures and business models that enable sustainable, scalable and profitable growth. “Growth was the key focus of the M&E industry for the past few years ― growth in subscribers, viewership, library size, hours of live sports, etc. — and much of that growth came at a cost that is just not sustainable,” says Steve Reynolds, president of Imagine Communications. ISE 2025 will be the perfect place to assess the evolution of convergence between broadcast and Pro-AV technology, a trend that has become increasingly important in recent years. A portion of Hall 4 at the show is dedicated to broadcast technology. This has been rebranded to “AV Broadcast” from “Content Production & Distribution” this year, which may signal an effort to blend broadcast technology within the AV landscape further (more on this below). Tracking this part of the exhibition over time is a good indicator of convergence progress, and particularly of which broadcast technology is finding its place in AV (and how). Some observations on the floor map changes I have noticed between 2024 and 2025 (not a perfect analysis, but still providing some valuable insights): 📍Some broadcast tech suppliers (e.g., Ross Video) have transitioned to Hall 4 this year. This could reflect a move to further centralize solutions coming from broadcast. It certainly helps navigation for buyers (and for analysts)! 🔍 Some suppliers like Blackmagic Design seem to have expanded their floor space this year. Though most seem to have kept a similar booth space as in 2024 even if the overall show is growing (see this for more info: https://lnkd.in/dvhcpf84). 🔍 There are some new suppliers exhibiting this year (e.g., Grass Valley). And there are also a few vendors that have vanished from the map in 2025. 🎥 Sectors that are particularly represented in the hall still include content acquisition and production, content infrastructure, audio and streaming. There are, of course, exceptions to this but you would classify most vendors in at least one of these segments (and not many changes here). My main takeaway from these observations is that convergence is still a trend in flux, with companies still experimenting with strategies to engage the AV market effectively. Have you spotted any more changes between 2024 and 2025? Stay tuned, I’ll be sharing more insights leading up to the show. 🚀 I look forward to attending the show with the Dovetail Creative Ltd team. PM me if you'd like to meet there :) #ISE2025 #BroadcastTechnology #ProAV #Convergence #Trends #Analysis

Couldn’t agree more with our partners at Crestron. These trends are shaping how teams connect and work—and we see them in action every day. ▶️ AVoIP is no longer optional. The demand for more screens and dynamic spaces is growing fast. Scalable, reliable content distribution keeps teams informed and engaged without overloading IT infrastructure. It’s not just about adding technology—it’s about making it work seamlessly across your network. ▶️ Collaboration tools are essential. The return to office has amplified the need for hybrid meeting solutions that are intuitive, inclusive, and keep everyone productive, whether they’re in the room or dialing in. ▶️ Remote management keeps teams ahead. Proactive monitoring and centralized control help prevent issues before they happen, ensuring your AV systems are always ready to perform. These aren’t just industry buzzwords—they’re how your technology works smarter, so your team can, too.

Grateful to be one of the Voices of Audacy’s Mix 104.1 Boston for a while. Over 20 years. A lot has to go right for a major market station or any market size radio property to have rating dominance like this. Starts with a major team concept, strong local market management and ownership who supports the on/air mission, cool on air people that are local, and you know it when you hear it, strong promotions and a strong community connection. Local news, info, entertainment awareness - a Mix of the right on-air communication has Mix manufacture it's all time best ratings book ever. Congrats 🎉 to the whole local staff in Boston🤪wooohoo🎉🎉 AUDACY Hot AC WWBX (MIX 104.1) found its way to the 6+ winner’s podium after landing its largest share ever (7.0-7.8!) This ended the seven-book winning streak for BEASLEY Sports WBZ (98.5 THE SPORTS HUB), which drifted down to #2 (7.7-7.5). WWBX made it back-to-back Adult 25-54 victories as it posted a double-digit share. WXKS (KISS 108) remained at #2 with its third down book in a row. The stations were better than four shares apart. How dominant is WWBX with the 18-34 crowd? Let us show you. The station was #1 for the fourth book in a row, and seventh time in the last eight surveys. The station was also in double figures for the seventh time during that eight-book span. We’re not finished. Its share was larger than the next three stations – combined! WWBX was #1 and in double figures 18-49 to the third straight survey. WOW!!!!
