𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞?🤔 When you name your child, it holds deep meaning—whether it's a name you love, one with personal associations, or just a mix of things that resonate with you. My name, Peta-Jane, is a perfect example. For years, I thought my mum liked 'Jane' and my dad liked 'Peta.' Turns out, it was the opposite! Who knew? And who gives their child a double-barreled, unisex name like Peta? 😅 Over the years, I've been called everything from Peter to Petra-Jane. It’s why I now go by PJ. It’s easier, funkier, and avoids the confusion of 'Is it Peta or Peta-Jane?' Here are some of the best variations I've heard: ◦ Peter 👨🦱 ◦ Pete 💼 ◦ Petra-Jane 👩💼 ◦ Petra-Jean 💁♀️ ◦ Peita Jayne ✨ ◦ Jayne 📝 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧! Names are powerful. They shape who we are and how we're perceived. For me, PJ just fits. It’s short, sweet, and leaves no room for error. 😎 The same goes for job titles. Sometimes, the title a client gives a role doesn’t resonate with the market. We might tweak it to attract the right candidates or suggest a title change to better reflect the role's seniority and responsibilities. After all, what's the difference between an Operations Manager, a Head of Operations, and a Chief Operations Officer? Sometimes, it’s everything. 🧑💼📈 𝐒𝐨, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞? 𝐀 𝐥𝐨𝐭.💡 Wondering if your job title is hitting the mark? Is it modern or is it old school, like the title 'Director of Nursing'? Let’s talk about how to get it just right. 📞 Give us a call at 02 9144 4544 #AgedCareLeadership #AgedCareRecruitmentAgencies #CEORecruitment #TalentRecruitment #AgedCareRecruitment #CEOSydney #AgedCareJobs #Innovation #DiverseExperience #AgedCareJobsSydney

🌟 As a recruiter, I get asked "what do you love most about working at Arc'teryx Equipment" a lot. It's an excellent question and although it can be extremely easy for me to give a very generic reason, I really wanted to reflect on my time here so far and provide my personal genuine response. 🏔️Passion for the Outdoors: Our love for the great outdoors isn't just a hobby; it's at the core of who we are. I'm surrounded by individuals who care deeply about making top quality products for the outdoors but also get to witness the amount of effort in taking care of the environment we love so much. This is so infectious and I have found myself appreciating and being in nature a lot more! 💕 Welcoming Environment: As a woman of colour, I've had to navigate through challenging conversations and experiences throughout my career. From my own experience here, I've felt celebrated for my individual differences and quirks. I feel SAFE enough to show up as my genuine self which makes going to work every day so much more fun. 🌱 Growth: This can mean many things but to me, it's the fact that my manager allows me room to grow (challenges me as well as encourages me to make mistakes and learn from them); it's also the freedom to walk up to any leader in any department for a casual chat to learn more about what they do; and lastly, it's the career progression and knowing that where I take my career is in my own hands but I have 100% support from my team. These may not sound like some wild reasons but these little blocks are the foundation of why I personally love working here. What have been some of your reasons for loving the companies you've worked for? Comment below - I'd love to hear it! #workculture #careergrowth #dreamjob
