Aruma Resources Ltd (ASX:AAJ) has found multiple zones of high-grade ionic clay #RareEarthElements (REEs) at its Salmon Gums Project in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, including the highest grade REE result in the area to date. The Salmon Gums Project consists of three exploration licences covering a total area of 360 square kilometres, some 200 kilometres south of Kalgoorlie. This area is fertile terrain not only for REE prospectivity but also offers potential for gold and lithium. The company’s surface sampling activities delivered the record REE result of 8,700 parts per million (ppm) total rare earth oxides (TREO) with high-value #neodymium and #praseodymium (NdPr) oxides constituting 22.5% of the TREO grade. Locksley Resources Limited (ASK:LKY) announce impressive high-grade antimony findings from the historic Desert Antimony Mine, including rock chip samples with Sb grades as high as 11.2% and 8.33%. "Reconnaissance rock-chip sampling at the North Block returned four significant antimony results greater than half a percent including 8.33% & 11.2% Sb, the samples came from an historic antimony mine developed on high-grade quartz-stibnite veining. American Rare Earths Limited (ASX:ARR, OTCQB:ARRNF) continues to uncover high-grade rare earth mineralisation at the Cowboy State Mine (CSM) area in Wyoming. The 2024 drill campaign, conducted by ARR’s wholly owned subsidiary, Wyoming Rare (USA) Inc, returned significant high-grade total rare earth oxides (TREO) within the western portion of the CSM deposit. Notable results include 172.4 metres at 3,716 parts per million (ppm) TREO, 51 metres at 3,390 ppm TREO and 30 metres at 2,203 ppm TREO. These assays are part of the first phase in the development of the larger Halleck Creek deposit, which holds a JORC-compliant resource of 2.34 billion tonnes containing 7.48 million tonnes of TREO. The campaign also marked the definition of the eastern boundary of the Red Mountain Pluton, with lower-grade results there. The Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate shows that the Fen Carbonatite Complex hosts the largest #REE deposit in continental #Europe evaluated to date. This is the first published Mineral Resource Estimate of REEs from the Fen Carbonatite Complex. The current estimate covers a large majority of the Project area and thus a huge discovery for #REN, #Norway, and #Europe. Variscan Mines Limited (ASX:VAR) has uncovered significant high-grade zinc-lead assay results from historic underground sampling at the Udias Mine in Spain. Groundwater management is key to #lithium mining and NMR imaging is key to success.

We've identified multiple new lithium, gold and base metal targets at our Opaline Well Project in Western Australia. A hyperspectral study of our Opaline Project revealed excellent lithium targets in pegmatites, including linear features within granitoids. We've also identified several gold and base metal targets by processing hyperspectral data to define hydrothermal alteration minerals, which correlate well with historical mining centres along the tenement's strike. We anticipate conducting mapping and geochemical sampling during the 2024 field season. Executive Director Lindsay Franker commented: “The hyperspectral survey has returned exciting results at our Opaline Well Project. This cutting-edge technology has revealed a swarm of potential pegmatite targets, indicating significant lithium potential within the tenement. We have also discovered numerous hydrothermal alteration anomalies that indicate gold and base metal mineralisation, which corresponds to historical workings in the region. These findings represent a significant step forward in our exploration efforts, highlighting Opaline Well's potential.
