🇨🇦 ⛏️ Noble Mineral Exploration (TSX-V: NOB) Announces Plans to Drill in proximity to the Location of a 140 kg, Mineralized Boulder Found near Hearst, Ontario. The company has plans to execute a drill program on 214 claims in Way Township commencing in mid-Jine. The claims extend from about 4 to 15 km southwest of the town of Hearst, Ontario. The drill program follows geophysical surveys done to identify targets that may be the source of the boulder. (Details in the link) 🚨Geolabs determined that the boulder contained: 71.8% copper; 3.5% lead, 1.09% zinc; 252 g/t of silver, 3.79 g/t of gold; 4.43 g/t of palladium; and 2.22 g/t of platinum and consisted primarily of cuprite Vance White, President and CEO of Noble, said “We are pleased with the progress on this property and look forward to the results of the drill program that may give us more clues as to the possible source of this rich boulder. via Kalkine Media Australia Viking Mines has reported encouraging assay results from the latest #drilling at its First Hit Lithium and Gold project, WA Goldfields. During the December 2023 quarter, the company completed the 1,220-hole auger programme at the project, over the Ida Fault, which is known to hosts significant #lithium deposits. The auger programme has defined 19 lithium anomalies across the project, out of which eight immediate priority targets have been identified. These high-priority targets require immediate follow-up field work and exploration. The identified priority targets have associated caesium, tantalum and thallium anomalies, which are indicative of lithium- #caesium- #tantalum pegmatites, known for hosting spodumene mineralisation. Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp. (OTC:LBSR), dba Liberty Star Minerals, said its drilling program at the Hay Mountain property has uncovered significant indicators of commercially valuable #metals, suggesting the potential for substantial #mineralization in the area. Drilling at the southeast Arizona property has indicated the potential presence of commercially important metals associated with porphyry copper-gold-moly geologic structures, according to the Tuscon-based company. At a depth exceeding 2000 feet, the company encountered a marble front along with an intense zone of propylitic alteration, both suggesting the existence of a substantial, hydrous intrusive body at depth. According to consulting geologist Jim Bryce, this alteration represents some of the most profound seen in over three decades of experience in the field, the company noted in a statement. Golden Metal Resources Plc (AIM:GMET) shares were on the front foot on Tuesday, up around 10% in early deals, after the explorer reported significant gold-silver-copper findings at its wholly owned Garfield project in Nevada. The company, in a statement, highlighted “bonanza grades” in its project update – measuring up to 1,225 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, including 18.35g/t gold and 1.89% copper. Specifically, it said it sees confirmation of significant porphyry and epithermal potential in the area. "The results announced today are highly significant as we have gone from high-grade copper-gold-silver results achieved over a large footprint to now multiple overlapping geological datasets which strongly confirm the presence of a significant porphyry style system driving mineralisation across the project,” chief executive Oliver Friesen said. Mr. Greg Hahn VP Exploration commented, “Drilling at Philadelphia has two objectives: to build a bulk tonnage low grade heap leachable resource at grades +0.5 gpt gold, and to delineate high grade portions in the FW and HW veins that were the subject of historic mining. The channel sampling in the recently uncovered adit revealed what is likely the higher grade core of the Rising Fawn section of the mineral system, where we have limited drill hole coverage. This higher grade area remains to be drilled.” Greg Hahn continued, “The drilling results in the Rising Fawn Gap demonstrate the gold-silver stockwork system continues towards the Perry portion of the mineral system with further drilling required. We intersected gold mineralization in the volcanics above the stockwork quartz interval which increases the total thickness of mineralization there. #LibertyStarUraniumandMetals Corp. (dba Liberty Star Minerals | LBSR: OTCQB) is making good progress with its first-ever drilling program at its flagship Hay Mountain property in southeast Arizona, the company shared in an update. The property, situated within a region known for significant porphyry copper-gold-moly geological structures, is being explored for commercially important metals. According to an interim field report, drilling at the second hole will continue from 1,500 feet to 2,000 feet. This decision is informed by observations and Portable X-ray Fluorescence (PXRF) readings indicating hydrothermal alteration and sulfides associated with veins in the core. These findings raise the possibility of a carbonate replacement deposit at depth, Liberty Star said in a statement. Rumble Resources Ltd (ASX:RTR, OTC:RTRFF) has confirmed the presence of high-grade #tungsten mineralisation at the Western Queen Gold Project in Western Australia, having re-assayed samples from seven holes drilled in 2021. The samples revealed elevated levels of tungsten, grading at up to 12 metres at 0.56% tungsten from 69 metres and 2 metres at 2.48% tungsten from 70 metres. These new results complement those already observed in recent drill holes, which produced multiple tungsten intersections including 4.05 metres at 4.58% tungsten and 0.71 g/t gold from 174.8, and 0.65 metres at 18.35% tungsten and 2.97 g/t gold from 176.85 metres of depth. “The discovery of tungsten at Western Queen has demonstrated the huge optionality that we have in our extensive tenement portfolio,” Rumble Resources managing director and CEO Peter Harold said.
