And let's be honest, that is true - there are many differences and believe me, I had many challenges in guiding and leading the culture into a robust, happy and safe environment for its people...🤯 But what is also true, that there many commonalities between the different cultures, when you deep dive on #Hofstedes comparison tool of different cultures you see that #Philippines and #Germany have significant similarities, for example in "Motivation towards Achievement & Success" and "Indulgence". "Motivation towards Achievement & Success": means how much a culture encourages people to be competitive, to aim for the good, and to try to be good in what they are doing. In places that score high in this, people often want to win and be successful and recognized in work and life. "Indulgence": indicates the extent to which a culture accepts the self-realization of each person. In a culture with a high value, marginalized groups or people who do not conform to "the average" are accepted - freedom is considered an important value. #Philippines & #Germany are almost rank equally in both, when you understood this, then you know how to build a "Great Place To Work", even when there are dimensions which differ a lot.
