Beat the Heat Tips With this incredibly hot and dry weather, it helps to have some tools on hand to beat the heat! AquaGel D works great with hydroseeding equipment and holds 400 times its weight in water, which helps with vegetation establishment. https://bit.ly/4bMznqd #beattheheattips #drought #vegetationestablishment #erosioncontrol

The Six Principles of Soil Health, 3 Rules of Adaptive Stewardship, and 4 Ecosystem Processes (TM) pride the guidance by which our best management decisions can be made. Please read this post by my Understanding Ag, LLC - Experts in Regenerative Ag colleague, Fernando Falomir. His observations and management have allowed his ranch to be more resilient than others in the same or similar environments. It's all about working in synchrony with nature, not imposing upon it. It's amazing how resilient nature is and how quick grass can recover after a two-year drought. The last two years has been one of the worst droughts I have gone through with only ¾ inches of precipitation in total. Eventually, like we always say, it has to rain. We have ONLY received 3.5" in total this summer (1" in July and 2.5" in August). As you can see, toboso and alkali sacaton are responding well to the moisture we have received. The name of the game is always focusing on soil health and perennial grass cover. Even in times of serve drought, management decisions still play a vital role in soil regeneration and the acceleration of recovery when moisture does arrive. #soil #soilhealth #regneration #regenerativeranching #regenerativeagruculture #regenag #landmanagment #drought #droughtmanagment

Beat the Heat Tips We know top contractors use cat tracking to minimize erosion on slopes to slow down the flow. This method can also be beneficial during hot and dry conditions by retaining water in the ridges, for better vegetation establishment. #beattheheattips #cattracking #drought #erosioncontrol
