𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 More and more entrepreneurs are embracing the idea that working smart is the way to go about success. Yet, the "working hard" culture is so engrained that you may not even know you're sucked into it. What does working smart look like, then? How do you know you're working hard, instead? First, let’s define working hard. ❌ Working hard means grinding without results and expecting different outcomes. ❌ It’s doing everything alone, not asking for help. ❌ It’s targeting everyone without being specific. ❌ It’s trying every strategy, following others’ opinions, not your own. ❌ It’s working late hours and weekends without setting boundaries. ❌ It’s feeling guilty about vacations and free time. ❌ It's saying yes to every potential client, even those who should never work with you. ❌ It’s using scattered tech platforms that don’t integrate. ❌ It’s creating routines without rest and recovery. ❌ It’s doing things you shouldn’t just because others do. 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁! ✅ Working smart means knowing the lifestyle you want, and creating it. ✅ It’s having a clear idea of your perfect clients, and only working with them. ✅ It’s being obsessed with your own game, avoiding distractions. ✅ It’s seeking precise help to move the needle. ✅ It’s making rest and recovery non-negotiable. ✅ It’s staying in your genius zone, delegating the rest. ✅ It’s building a team of A-players who excel with you. ✅ It’s paying yourself first and investing wisely. ✅ It’s focusing on revenue-generating activities daily. Now that you know the difference... Are you working smart, or hard? Post in the comments! ________ 💰 The Wealth Entrepreneur Community is now open! The future of work is changing. Here’s how to stay ahead. More people, especially millennials and Gen Z, are choosing flexible career paths. They want to live life on their terms, not just work less but work differently. This shift is pushing companies to adapt quickly. Reflecting on my time at Uber, I saw firsthand how they attracted top talent by offering freedom and flexibility. Uber empowered me to craft the lifestyle that suited me — they just cared that I delivered (above and beyond) on the numbers. How I got there was up to me. This led to a world where I was able to spend my twenties scaling a business across a continent while simultaneously exploring the world — surrounded by people like me, who were hyper-ambitious, curious, and energised by a life lived outside of one's comfort zone. For me (and many others), this combination was pure magic in a bottle. Uber’s numbers reflected this magic. Here are 3 key lessons I learned at Uber, that I have recently shared with our corporate customers on how to ensure remote/hybrid workforces thrive: 1. Equip people with the best tech. Providing top-notch tech tools is essential. If you're going hybrid or remote, you can't skimp on technology. It ensures smooth communication and productivity. 2. Connect them to A-players, wherever they are. Even though I was traveling full time, I had access to people that inspired me and helped me grow. Now we do the same with Yayem - helping remote teams stay at the top of their game, connecting with fellow ambitious and driven people. 3. Offer freedom and flexibility. Let your team work in ways that suit them best. As long as they deliver, they shouldn’t be micromanaged in terms of place or time. This autonomy boosts morale and productivity. The result? A team that has a sense of true ownership, is highly motivated, and ready to take on challenges. It's time to face the truth: rigid work structures won't get you the results you're after. Embrace flexibility and watch your team thrive. PS: We’ve just onboarded new companies onto our Yayem for Companies plan. Want to hear more? Operating on a shoestring budget while striving to keep your team motivated? If the phrase 'money crunch' resonates with you, you're in for a treat! 🌟 In the bustling world of startups, where every penny counts, fostering a positive work culture and boosting employee morale might seem like a luxury. But, did you know it's entirely possible—and crucial—to achieve this without breaking the bank? Here are some innovative yet cost-effective strategies to keep your team engaged and morale high, ensuring your startup thrives even in challenging times. ✅ Celebrate Small Wins: Recognition doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag. A simple shout-out in a team meeting or a personalized thank-you note can make employees feel valued and appreciated for their efforts. ✅ Foster Open Communication: Create a culture where feedback flows freely. Regular check-ins and an open-door policy encourage transparency, making team members feel heard and supported. ✅ Professional Growth Opportunities: Invest in your team’s development through mentorship programs, cross-training, or access to online courses. Often, the investment is more about time and mentorship rather than financial resources. ✅ Flexible Working Arrangements: Empower your team with the flexibility to work in a way that suits their lifestyle. This shows trust and respect for their personal time and can significantly boost job satisfaction. ✅ Team Building Activities: Don't underestimate the power of fun! Organize low-cost or no-cost team-building activities to foster camaraderie. Think virtual game nights or outdoor picnics. Remember, a positive work culture is not about the size of your budget but the strength of your commitment to your team's well-being. Let's redefine what it means to motivate and engage employees, proving that creativity and thoughtfulness are priceless. Have you tried any of these strategies in your startup? Or do you have other cost-effective tips to share? Let’s start a conversation below! 👇 #employeeengagement #startupculture #workplacewellness #leadership #innovation #remotework #payroll #internationalhiring #moraleboost #futureofwork

It's an interesting take Christian, because my experience with WFH completely refutes each of the points you raised: 1. Visibility in the workplace and learning from seniors: WFH environments often prioritize autonomy and trust over micromanagement. Plus, remote setups can foster a culture of continuous learning through virtual mentorship and online resources, challenging the notion that physical presence equals learning opportunities. 2. Promotion and compensation: Contrary to the belief that promotions are hindered by remote work, I've found that WFH positions can offer competitive compensation packages, sometimes even surpassing what's available in traditional office settings. 3. Professional growth and learning from mistakes: While my early career mistakes were valuable learning experiences, WFH has allowed me to leverage those lessons and excel in my role without the fear of judgment. The flexibility and supportive environment have empowered me to take on more responsibility and thrive. 4. Personal development and work-life balance: WFH affords me the time and flexibility to invest in my physical and mental well-being, whether it's hitting the gym or pursuing hobbies that enrich my life. Additionally, having leaders who prioritize not just metrics but also overall productivity and well-being sets a positive example for personal growth. In essence, your arguments against WFH lack a comprehensive understanding of its benefits and fail to acknowledge the diverse experiences and opportunities it can offer. Instead of dismissing WFH outright, it's important to consider the nuanced advantages it brings to different individuals and industries. #lovemyjob #workfromhome #recruitment Easy Outsource
