🌿We've partnered with the Eden Project to reimagine Canary Wharf as a place where nature and people thrive 🌊 Together, we have developed a programme to enhance our public areas: improving access to outdoor spaces, helping people use the waterways, and improving biodiversity by providing new habitats for wildlife and increasing the number of plant species on the wharf. 🌼We have introduced over 800 species of plants and trees – which bring our neighbourhood to life and have the added bonus of acting as nature's air purifiers 🌳Created 16.5 acres of gardens and parks. There’s the verdant Crossrail Place Roof Garden, Canada Square Park, where you can watch film screenings, Montgomery Square, home to ping pong and minigolf or even try yoga in Harbord Square Park 🏊Run along 5km of waterside boardwalks at Harbour Quay, or go swimming, paddleboarding or boating with GoBoats on Canary Wharf’s waterways.    Canary Wharf is being reimagined as a place for nature and people. Come and enjoy it this summer and keep your eyes peeled for a huge announcement coming this autumn 👀 #CanaryWharf #EdenProject #Biodiversity #ESG

Welcoming "Miss" to our award-winning public art collection 🪨☀️ Carved from luminous Carrara marble, Miss offers a mesmerising interplay of light and shadow. Placed at the dock’s edge, the sculpture turns translucent in sunlight, its surface reflecting the water and surrounding architecture. As the light shifts throughout the day, Miss transforms before your eyes, inviting you to pause and marvel at the interplay of art, time and the urban environment. Sculpted by Irish artist Emma Louise Moore, the captivating piece is located at the bottom of Cubitt Steps, joining over 100 other works in the UK’s largest free-to-visit, outdoor, public art collection. We are East Londoners!   After 7 years in our office on Devonshire Square at Liverpool Street area, Sipral UK Ltd. has moved to Canary Wharf! We are now closer to our projects and our clients. Thanks to Canary Wharf Group and Canary Wharf Contractors we found an excellent place at 40 Bank Street in the very heart of Canary Wharf. As a bonus, an amazing view from our office on level 19 cannot be better than to have our Wardian project right in front of our meeting room.   We are excited by the vibrant neighborhood at Canary Wharf and the closer connection with our clients. We have some more exciting openings coming soon, as well as launching phase 2 of East Londons hottest new neighbourhood, Wood Wharf. Please get in touch with George Chapman or I, or our agents Bruce Gillingham Pollard Colliers if you have any enquiries.

🤝 Empowering Young People Through Work Insight Week Last week we were extremely happy to host a Work Insight Week in collaboration with Social Mobility Business Partnership (SMBP), supporting young people from across the London Borough of Tower Hamlets to learn about new opportunities in the world of work and develop vital, transferable skills. SMBP is a volunteer-led charity that brings together over 200 professional services firms, commercial organisations, and professional sports teams committed to supporting students from low-income backgrounds in their career pursuits 👨💼👷♀️ Throughout the week, our participants spent time with Canary Wharf Group, UK Health Security Agency, Amwins, Lockton and NHS Property Services Ltd, where they had the opportunity to: - Learn about new industries and careers - Participate in skill development workshops - Network with industry leaders - Take part in interactive workshops simulating real-life work scenarios 🧠 The participants also attended an engaging workshop about the psychology of resilience and goal achievement models, developed by Cleartrak for SMBP and delivered by our CWG volunteers. Quoc Truong, CWG's Social Value Manager commented on the experience: "Many young people from across Tower Hamlets, especially those from disadvantaged or lower socioeconomic backgrounds, face significant barriers when it comes to accessing careers and development opportunities. By volunteering on initiatives like SMBP's Work Insight Week, CWG colleagues are actively helping to break down these barriers, providing young people with the support, knowledge, and skills they need to succeed. Not only are these initiatives important for young people, they provide us with access to a diverse pool of future talent and offer a great opportunity to collaborate with other businesses for the collective purpose of improving social mobility for young people in the local area." We're proud to support SMBP's mission and look forward to continuing our work to empower young people in our community.
