No leader or manager in the workplace can do every task on their own. Delegation requires trusting your team. Successful leaders invest the necessary time to ensure their fellow employees have the tools, guidance and skills needed to accomplish the task. Delegating responsibility and authority to fellow employees is one of the most important and effective management skills you can possess. As well as trusting the team member, you also need to give them the authority to accomplish it to the best of their ability, often stretching them out of their comfort zone to improve their capability and value. After all, delegation is a great management tool for getting the best out of yourself and your team, particularly when managing various projects. #teambuilding #teambonding #micromanagement

🌟 Management is not just about leading a team; it's about empowering them. 🌟 Our goal should be to foster an environment where innovation thrives, communication flows openly, and every team member feels valued. In my experience, great management hinges on three key principles: -Trust & Delegation: Empowering team members to take ownership of their tasks leads to greater efficiency and accountability. Trust your team—they'll often exceed expectations. -Open Communication: Regular and transparent communication not only prevents misunderstandings but builds a culture of trust and openness. -Continuous Learning: The best managers are those who are constantly evolving. By staying curious and learning from both successes and failures, we can better lead our teams to new heights. 👉👉Let’s remember, great leaders aren’t just born—they’re made through experience, self-reflection, and a dedication to growth. What management practices have you found to be most effective in building a strong, cohesive team? #Leadership #Management #Teamwork #Growth #LeadershipDevelopment

My next go-to practice for managing energy and maintaining focus amid intense work cycles is sharing the weight. To do that, we all need skilled, supportive, and collaborative team members to lean on—and as leaders, it’s our responsibility to build the right team. Especially when engaged in a corporate shift as big as the one PMI is on with its transition to a #smoke-free future, it helps to view the necessary work as a marathon that requires high-intensity bursts of activity followed by slower periods of maintenance and reflection. Sometimes we need to sprint, other times it’s better to jog. With that in mind, when building a team, I look for who’s going to be the water passer, who’s going to be in the cheering crowd, who’s running beside me, and who is setting the pace running in front of me. Ultimately, to whom can I pass the baton when I’m mentally exhausted? Investing in building the right team is essential to successfully managing the frenetic pace of work. #Leadership #TeamBuilding #Collaboration #ManageEnergy #MaintainFocus
