Centennial fast-tracks construction on Geebung Industrial Park as two new tenants secured by JLL and Cushman & Wakefield Centennial accelerated the start of construction on the final stage of Geebung Industrial Park in Brisbane's inner north, and securing two new tenants with assistance of agents Morgan Ruig of Cushman Wakefield and Gibson Leembruggen of JLL. According to Centennial's Head of Institutional Funds, Alex Edwards the company was delighted with the rapid progress of the Geebung estate's transformation from an under rented B-grade facility into an institutional grade industrial asset, being built by leading Queensland company, McNab Constructions. "We're also very pleased to welcome one of Queensland’s oldest established building and supplies groups, Bretts Trade Timber and Hardware expected to move into two refurbished warehouses, on the eastern perimeter of stage two in February 2025, together with Rohde & Schwarz which operates in around 70 countries. Agents responsible for negotiating the new tenancy deals, Morgan Ruig of Cushman Wakefield and Gibson Leembruggen of JLL, said both parties were drawn to Geebung Industrial Park based on its ease of access and connectivity to the major arterial routes including the Gateway Motorway and connections to the port, airport and CBD - all crucial to both businesses' operations. • St William has received full planning permission to redevelop the Stratford Gasworks site in East London. • The 2.2-acre brownfield site will be transformed into a mixed-tenure neighborhood featuring 245 homes, located near West Ham and Stratford Stations. • The development design, created with Cowen + Partners and LDA Design, honors the area's Victorian industrial heritage. • Facades will incorporate handmade bricks and detailing inspired by nearby historic landmarks, including the Grade II* Listed Abbey Mills Pumping Station and Sir Joseph Bazalgette-designed 19th-century houses. • Before construction begins, the project requires Gateway 2 approval from the Building Safety Regulator. • Dean Summers, Managing Director of St William, praised the London Legacy Development Corporation and London Borough of Newham for quickly finalising the section 106 agreement within five weeks of planning committee approval. • This project supports Berkeley Group's strategy to progress more sites into delivery, aligning with the Government’s pro-homebuilding agenda.

Lovett Industrial recently broke ground on 121 Logistics Park, a 27-acre urban infill development consisting of 339,280 square feet across two Class A logistics facilities in Coppell and Lewisville, Texas. “With high barriers of entry, close proximity to executive housing, and ample blue-collar labor, the North DFW Airport submarket is considered not only to be one of the most desirable infill submarkets in the Dallas Fort Worth industrial market but one of the most desirable industrial submarkets in the United States,” said Bennett See, Dallas-Fort Worth Market Leader. 121 Logistics Park is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025 and will cater to tenants ranging from 85,000 SF to 339,000 square feet in size.
