Check out the new DSV - Global Transport and Logistics warehouse and office we delivered for valued client Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd, which has been delivered to a 5-star equivalent rating. This 47,797sqm project now features a wash bay capable of recycling water up to 100L per minute and a 99KW solar system. Plus, this is our first project using 100% carbon reduced concrete. Altogether, this saved approximately 620 tonnes of CO2, which is equivalent to the annual absorption of around 70,000 trees! We were recently joined by Housing Minister Sam O'Connor MP, Sam Betros and Robert M. alongside BHC Creating Liveable Communities and Cox Architecture to celebrate the commencement of construction of a 158-unit social and affordable housing complex in Southport which is proudly supported by the Queensland Government’s Housing Investment Fund. We can’t wait to deliver more homes for those who are in critical need.

PROJECT WIN l We’re excited to share we’ve teamed up with Charter Hall in conjunction with Modalus to deliver a new logistics and distribution warehouse for a major Australian hardware brand! This 40,000sqm purpose-built logistics and distribution warehouse will feature 15 loading docks, 800sqm office, three dock offices and a 21,730sqm external hardstand – all delivered to a 5 Star Green Star Rating. This will be our third project with Charter Hall and the first to be delivered in the new Flagstone Logistics Estate. Stay tuned for the completion pics! Nathan Cairney

Check out the new food processing and distribution facility for ISPT and tenant MOCO Food Services in Wacol. This facility features diverse temperature-controlled zones, including 5,000 sqm of freezer space, 5,500 sqm of coolroom, and a dedicated 4,500 sqm ambient room. This was our first project with ISPT and Aliro Group, and, as always it was a privilege working alongside Bootooloo Property. Here’s to many more successful projects together!

Kunj shared insights into McNab’s success, in particular how our integrated model—spanning design, construction, in-house trades and building products, and of course the best subcontractors—is helping mitigate price increases and drive productivity challenges in the industry.

PROJECT WIN l We’re excited to be kicking off our 12th project for BHC Creating Liveable Communities - 158 social and affordable housing units in Southport designed by Cox Architecture and with the support of the Queensland Government's Housing Investment Fund. We will also deliver rooftop spaces and a communal area, creating opportunities for connection and community. With three projects currently under construction for BHC Creating Liveable Communities and over 1,000 social and affordable apartments underway across SEQ, we're proud to help deliver much-needed housing for Queenslanders. Vale Aaron Groot. We are deeply saddened to share that Aaron lost his two-year battle with cancer last week. A true gentleman in our industry, his loss will be deeply felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.   Aaron was more than a leader – he was a wonderful father, husband, mentor, and friend. His witty sense of humour, genuine care for his people, and passion for the business made him someone we are all better for knowing. He had a way of bringing warmth and laughter into any room, making those around him feel valued and supported. Our 2025 Year 12 Building Pathways Program for Women in Trades is now open! In partnership with CSQ - Construction Skills Queensland, this hands-on, five-day experience introduces students to key construction trades—carpentry, waterproofing, painting, and plastering—while working alongside McNab’s experienced female professionals. It’s a unique opportunity to gain real-world skills and explore the exciting world of construction, with the best team in the game! The program runs from 7–11 April 2025, during the school holidays, at McNab construction sites in Brisbane. PROJECT WIN l We’ve just been selected to build two warehouses for Felmac Property at Johnstone Road, Spec Warehousing. This 48,670sqm site will soon house 26,922sqm of warehouse and office space designed by Sparc* for tenants LogoLine and furnX. Stay tuned as we bring this one to life!

What a way to start the year by hitting our first major milestone for our latest luxury development, Elements Budds Beach – demolition is now complete, and site works are officially underway. The existing building has been removed, and salvageable materials such as concrete, timber, and metal have been recycled in line with McNab’s sustainability goals. With preparations for civil and ground improvement works well advanced, we’re on track to kick off construction over the coming weeks.
