If you chose to be successful. It’s so true that you’d have very few choices to make and you’d be sacrificing almost every single hour and day. But once it becomes a habit - you’d love it to the core. Yes. At times it’s tiring, you’d hate doing it. There would be a ton of things that you don’t like doing but you’d end up doing them if you want to be successful. And success isn’t just a career or a skill thing. It’s the same if you want to be a successful husband/wife, father/mother, sibling, son/daughter, friend, team member - whatever the role you are playing if you want to be successful in that role you need to be grinding and you need to make sacrificing a habit. But only if you are obsessed about success. Else you’d regret doing whatever you do. As many have already said Success doesn’t come easy. Neither does failure. If you don’t attempt to succeed, you’d never get a chance to fail. Hope everyone out there started grinding over the weekend :) Cheers 🍻

So I have not really talked about this in detail. What I am going to talk about is my experience in Bollywood. Okay so here are some things you need to know if you are an actor and you have aspirations of getting there. 1. Bollywood is not what you expect it to be. Look I don't mean it in a bad way. It is an industry that attracts some of the most masochistic people because who wants to be so close to being famous, and never quite get the recognition they deserve, it is a combination of being hungry for fame and mental torture that some people get blinded by and they continue working there because they somehow hope that the shine and glow of celebrities rubs off on them. It is a sad way to live. 2. The wannabe stars. These actors are established in some way or the other, but you will see them name drop actors and producers that they have worked with or they aspire to work with just because they got on a phone call with them regarding a role that they are probably not even close to getting. 3. The complaining and entitlement. It is a great way to ruin your chances to get into any film let alone a big screen one because the moment you are selfish to the point of it affecting the others around you, that's where it creates negative repercussions that you may not think exists. Working in Bollywood is a privilege in itself and you need to treat it as such. Now please keep in mind that there are many positive things also, but it is important to keep an open mind and stop thinking that everything that glitters is gold. If you are genuine with your intentions and are not needy about wanting to be famous you will be successful not only in Bollywood but the entertainment industry in general.
