"Make the call" what does that mean? At Qcells USA Corp. it means; •      As leaders, we have an extra responsibility to speak up when we notice unsafe acts and conditions, and to question if the way we are doing something is the safest way. •      We have the responsibility to participate in the safety program as much as anyone else. If we see an “at Risk condition”, we have a responsibility to act and “Make the Call”.  •     Sharing experiences, lessons learned, and field observations are critical in our ability to improve the safety of the individual sites and the company as a whole. •     Participate in building a safety culture that values people over profits.

A few months into my new part-time job….. Recently I was selected as Director of Operations and Quality Control in the Diaper Division at Haynes Inc., I’ve gained insight which has helped me grow as a professional. Here are five beneficial truths I’ve further cemented in life and in business: 1.     Patience truly is a virtue. 2.     It can get messy…. breathe, proceed promptly with dignity and grace. 3.     In a collaborative effort, always be aware of your team member’s needs via communication and transparency. 4.     Not all cries are created equal- listen carefully to find the solution to the most glaring problem. 5.     The power of a smile has the ability to transcend words.

11 years....kahani abhi 'bahut' baaki hai!! It’s not just a number—it’s the weight of lessons, sleepless nights, and relentless pursuit of something greater. Brigs Espro Services Pvt Ltd wasn't built on shortcuts. Every day, we wake up with one purpose—to outperform yesterday. Today is a bitter sweet day; my last day at Omega Red Group after 4 eventful, highly enjoyable years working with such a fantastic team. During my tenure of leading Omega’s Compliance Division, our team has faced into : 😷🩻Furlough, downsizing the business by 50% for 5 months and 4 waves of COVID after only 6 months in the business. 🤖💻9 month cyber attack where systems were only working 50 % of capacity, adding increased pressure to keep our service to acceptable level, producing challenges, frustration and stressful environments. 👷🇬🇧 UK labour shortage, finding novel ways of attracting new colleagues in the midst of fantastic sales growth to help with our delivery SLA’s. 🚚📦Manoeuvred through global supply chain problems, working with customers to try and mitigate cost increases as best as possible. 📈💷Delivered double digit sales growth over each of the 4 years ..WOW ! 👨🎓👨🎓Delivered on some fantastic succession planning with great internal appointments who are now flying within their given roles. 👷🪜Implemented BS 7883:2019 Height Safety Standard professionally, diligently and passionately which has landed well with both existing and new customers alongside our supporting digital reporting. Our greatest result though was seeing our colleague Alex Singh win his 18 month battle against cancer. As you can imagine, this was a very challenging time for him, family and colleagues but we got the positive outcome which everyone wanted. I’ve had fantastic support from my leadership team since day 1, together we have worked collaboratively with the pursuit of delivering on our quality , expertise and service promise to customers. Throughout these hurdles, barriers and challenges we’ve worked with colleagues in a supportive manner, safety and welfare always at the top of our agenda. In this 4 year timeframe I’ve made some lovely friendships that will stay with me forever, I’m truly blessed that’s for sure. There is a great quote that says: “Nothing last for ever, so live it up, laugh it off, avoid drama, take chances, and never have regrets; because at one point everything you did was exactly what you wanted”. These last 4 years have been ones that have left me with such fond memories, honestly you’re in safe hands for Lightning Protection & Height Safety Services when using Omega Red Group. From our external engineers, supervisors and technical management team through to our sales, planning and back office team you will find dedication and focus for doing the right thing, at the right time. To finish on brand, our parent company South Staffordshire Plc has a new CEO Charley Maher.
