Our mission is as we think it should be in recruitment: “Transform lives and businesses through a unique recruitment experience”. The impact of your job on your life is huge. The majority of us spend longer at work than anywhere else. We also know how much time and money is invested in employees, and how a business is only as good as the people within it. And how are we doing with our mission? It’s quite simple really… we invest our time getting to know you, your business, your requirements, your motivation, and your goals. It’s about people over numbers and targets. Working with businesses to recruit employees through a strategic, down to earth and realistic approach. Providing our clients with advice and knowledge of the market they are hiring in.
Being a #businessowner, #employer and #recruiter is a bit like the British weather right now, one moment I am basking in the glory with my sunglasses on and the next I am in the middle of a storm. You have to learn to take the rough with the smooth, smile through the bad times and know that the actions you take now will shape your future. Easier to write, than follow through I would say. The climate in #recruitment is ever changing so aligning yourself with a #recruitment partner that sees your challenges as well as shares your values is even more important. I have been recruiting in the #Oxfordshire area since 2003 when I relocated from Chester and the market and expectations have changed drastically. #Candidates are thin on the ground and most definitely more demanding and less able to communicate than ever before. #Ghosting is a real issue in the industry and one that wastes I would say the largest chunk of our time. Looking ahead, as we find ourselves halfway through April, I reflect on the past six months where we've made the courageous decision to part ways with #clients whose #values and #recruitment methods didn't align with ours. It's a bold move for a #smallbusiness, but one rooted in #respect for our time and resources. Our commitment is to tackle #recruitment with honesty and professionalism, ensuring that every person we engage with feels valued, regardless of the outcome. If this resonates with your own challenges, we're here to help – offering a no-drama, authentic approach enriched with life experience.
