Growing Quality Assurance identity and community through bringing teams, people, and process together. EXPRESSED VIEWS ARE MY OWN
In reality our goal shouldn't be to squash all bugs. It should be to know that these bugs exist and make choices about which ones pose the biggest risk to health, safety, enjoyment, purpose and then make a plan for how to deal with it. If you live in a wood home, that may be termites. If you live in a warm place, it might be mosquitoes. And, sometimes, you have to make informed, prioritized choices between several bad things. But, sometimes the biggest, scariest bugs just need to be recognized, triaged, and let live - even if they make a lot of noise. #qualityassurance #testing #quality #humansusinghumanbrains #qualityassured #qa #videogames #videogameindustry #videogameqa Underground Game QA

Having trouble naming something? Ask QA for ideas. Video game QA professionals are some of the most creative people you will ever meet. Every one of them is filled with all sorts of ideas. When you are having trouble naming something or can't come up with a new whatever for whatever or can't figure out how to improve something, ask QA. You ask 3 QA folks for a new anything and you'll probably get at least 6 useable ideas. Even though QA might not have been included in the story/world building process, they will come up with ideas that will fit within the scope of your world design. Additionally, QA loves it when they can point to something in a game they have worked on and say that they contributed that to the game.

Netflix 🍿 provide a possibility in "My List" to separate the movies 🎥 that I already watched from those which I haven't started. The movies which I already watched are crowding "My List". Here a Figma prototype that I created that shows a possible solution. What do you think? Would this feature be useful to you? (And yes: GoodFellas is a great Movie. 😉) #UserExperience #UserExperienceDesign #ProductDesign #ProductDevelopment #CrossFunctionalTeams #SpeculativeDesign
