📕 New Report: World Press Trends Outlook 2024–2025 The latest edition of our flagship annual report on the global news media industry is now available. This comprehensive study includes insights from more than 240 senior media executives across 85 countries, highlighting the trends shaping the future of publishing. Key findings include: 1️⃣ Revenue diversification: Print remains the largest source of revenue, but for the first time in our research, print revenue now accounts for less than half of total revenue, while digital and 'other' revenue categories continue to grow steadily. 2️⃣ Events take centre stage: Both in-person and online events are proving to be key revenue drivers, with 29% of respondents citing them as a significant source of income. 3️⃣ Editorial investment on the rise: Audience-first strategies are a priority for many publishers, who are increasingly investing in their newsroom budgets.
