Home and Family At home, I share a wonderful life with my partner, and our two children. I'm also a proud stepmom. Our household wouldn't be complete without our two lovable dogs. I grew up in Southwest Sydney, a part of town I still call home. What about your career? My work experience includes a long history in premium funding, dating back to 1996. I've worked with Hunter, Highland Finance/GE, and most recently, Centrepoint Alliance/BOQ for 12.5 years. What are your hobbies and interests? My interests include reigniting my passion for art, drawing, and painting, which I picked up again after a long hiatus since high school. I also cherish spending quality time with my family on fun-filled days out. Do you have any fears? One quirk I've developed since having kids is a newfound fear of heights – indoor rock climbing and Ferris wheels are now a no-go for me! Life Motto As a family, we live by two mottos: "Manners cost nothing" and "Do it until you can do it well, and then you will do it because you can do it well." These principles guide our actions and remind us of the importance of politeness and perseverance in our daily lives.

So much to love and learn from Marvin Salcido's talk at the #LCRSummit focusing on building a great #CompanyCulture! Because culture is so inherently unique from business to business, there is no silver bullet; you just have to put in the time and work. There are, however, a few things that hold true across all organizations: • Having a shared vision and goal is key for a unified team—and that vision can only be brought to life through constant communication and feedback. • Fostering open communication empowers team members to be comfortable addressing issues and taking a proactive approach to problem solving. • There is NO place on your team for toxic individuals; cultivating a positive culture takes time but can be quickly be ruined by even a small amount of negativity. • Celebrate wins, express gratitude for excellent work, and recognize both teams and individuals with gifts, rewards and awards. • Support employees outside of work by providing great benefits, keeping a reasonable and manageable schedule, and assisting them when they're experiencing difficult circumstances at home.
