QEW GROUP BERHAD ’s Post

The halal industry's expansion into sectors such as food, beverages, and tourism has been evident in recent years, supported by Malaysia's Halal Development Corporation Bhd (HDC). HDC forecasts a 15% increase in halal product exports this year, building on the robust performance of 2022, where exports reached RM59 billion, a notable 63% surge from 2021. Investments in halal industrial areas have been substantial, totaling RM16.4 billion by the end of 2023, with an additional RM600 million expected this year. These figures underscore the global appeal of Malaysian halal products, emphasizing their quality, cleanliness, and authenticity. In anticipation of this growth, Qew Group Berhad enters the halal industry by establishing a Digital Asean Smart Halal Industrial Park in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah. Located within the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) area, the park aims to offer cutting-edge infrastructure and amenities to support the entire halal value chain, from production to distribution.
