Day - 2 - 07/23/2024 On Day 2 of the QUADE Knowledge Upscale Program for our engineering students, our CEO, Santhosh A, covered an important topic: "Competence." He explained what is required to get placed in the right job, focusing on the integration of three key elements: Attitude, Skills, and Knowledge. Santhosh A also clarified the difference between Knowledge and Skills with relevant examples. To help them understand the true meaning of a "good attitude," he broke it down into three components: "Self-Image," "Trait," and "Motive." 1. Self-Image: How a person sees themselves in a job role. 2. Trait: Genetically determined characteristics that add value or diminish the value of your skills, such as honesty, curiosity, and kindness. 3. Motive: The deeper purpose driving a person's behavior, essentially "why they do what they do." At the end of the session, everyone shared their current Skills, Knowledge, and Attitude, and committed to learning new skills, updating their knowledge, and cultivating good habits while eliminating negative traits.
