IIPC The Industry Institute Partnership Cell is also called as Industry Institute Interaction Cell at BEC which is intended to be the face of the Institute to the industry. It aims to facilitate the process of close industry-institute interaction and actively promote fresh avenues for the same. It strives to enhance industry-institute interaction with students, faculty and staff to bridge the gap between academia and corporate world. There has been a considerable effort made to establish linkages with the industries through various activities such as industrial guest lectures, industrial trainings to students and faculty members, internships, industrial visits, live industrial projects by faculty members, collaborative research programmes etc. The objectives of IIPC To explore possible avenues to strengthen the linkages and expertise between industry and institution for mutual benefit To find ways to galvanize our students to meet the current industry expectations To extend faculty consultancy services to industry and vice versa To unearth areas for collaborative research programmes To chalk out strategies to improve UG/PG students’ placement opportunities in industries To identify areas and opportunities for MoUs between industry and institute #SNSInstitutions #SNSDesognedThinkers #DesignThinking

Great way to get introduced to the industry and learn what Engineering is all about.

Tier 3 university degree students are being restricted to their own syllabus, and upon this they've to maintain 85% attendance. Idk why these systems are in place. Suppose a student gets selected for a duration of 3-6 months internship in his 3rd/4th year of engineering/ any bachelor's degree, and the faculty head or management don't give permission, it's just they're just restricting a student from gaining industry exposure. If the student doesn't get selected in campus placements, the college management then pushes the blame towards students. Is the system fair towards these young students, is a big question mark #vtu #students

🌟 Midway Through the Journey: Celebrating Internship Progress at MTIF🌟 Today, we continue to share updates on how our Graduate Interns are progressing in their roles. In this post, we’re excited to share an update on Jade Gregory’s  journey as she reaches the halfway mark of her internship at MTIF. Jade has shown great enthusiasm get involved in Lab activities, and scientific research. 🔬 Week 1: Orientation and Initial Training •            After Health and Safety and Lab inductions, Jade quickly involved herself with microbial research using a variety of drugs to assess their inhibitory and bactericidal concentrations on different salmonella strains. She has also assisted ongoing commercial projects. 📝 Week 2: Initial Tasks and Lab Maintenance •            Jade participated in the creation of multiple assays, assisted the lab in its regular day-to-day maintenance, and got to experience the procedures required to work in a highly maintained clean room. 👩🔬 Week 3: Conducting Experiments    •            Jade applied her training and worked with more potent solutions. This work required a steady hand, and safe handling of both the bacteria and oils required to undergo the protocol. At this point, she was primarily working independently, making her own broths and agars to use in her experiments.
