We are so honored to receive the 1st Place in the Aquatic New Product Showcase Award for the TMC Jellyfish Kreisels.
These aquariums take up very little space, so they're ideal for areas that you see a lot but where there isn't a ton of extra room. The actual assembly of the Tropical Marine Centre Ltd Kreisel tank is really straightforward: rinse the media well, put in the media and the filter pads then fill with saltwater.

🐟The Innovate UK KTN Fish Guts Project at Victory Farms is wrapping up and we're excited to dive into data analysis. We set out to compare a homemade, by-product based feed (including tilapia viscera) versus commercial feed for chickens and catfish. Unfortunately, our catfish caught a disease and we couldn't get solid data on growth or performance. Regardless, we were able to prove palatability and hopefully we'll compare growth performance in future trials. We tried our viscera-based feed on egg-laying chickens and broiler chicks - these two trials went well and we were able to get some good data. We also conducted two market surveys: one with fish consumers and another with 'Mama Samaki' fish vendors to understand the local demand for catfish, eggs, and chicken. Currently these results are being analysed - we'll post our results soon!

How To Keep Colorful Fish
Dazzling colors of fish in aquariums are a sight to behold, aren't they?
The secret behind their vibrant hues lies in their diet, specifically in the plants they consume.
Plants are rich in carotenoids and other substances that lend these stunning colors to our aquatic friends.
So, if you're a fish parent, remember to include a variety of plants and algaes in their diet to keep their colors as vivid as possible.

Whale Sharks can stretch their mouth to four feet wide! As such, they can process more than 6,000 litres of water an hour through their gills!
Don't worry though, they may have big mouths but they're all talk no bite. These gentle creatures have teeth so tiny that they can only eat small shrimp, fish and plankton by using their gill rakers as suction filters.
