Huge News – Congress has passed the National Plan to End Parkinson’s Act and the bill is now on its way to President Biden’s desk to be signed into law!   We join THE MICHAEL J FOX FOUNDATION FOR PARKINSON'S in our gratitude to the 215 senators and representatives who championed this bill, especially its lead sponsors, Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) and Chris Murphy (D-CT) and Representatives Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) and Paul Tonko (D-NY). We also extend our thanks to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Representative Jennifer Wexton (D-VA). Additionally, we want to applaud The Michael J. Fox Foundation for their leadership in rallying the Parkinson’s community and their advocacy for over 1 million people living with Parkinson’s disease in the US. This achievement would not be possible without your far-reaching impact. We are so proud to be your partner. 

Breaking news — Congress has passed The National Plan to End Parkinson’s Act! Passed unanimously by the U.S. Senate today, the bill now heads to President Biden’s desk to be signed into law. This is a historic milestone for the PD community, and we could not have done it without our grassroots advocates who sent over 70,000 messages to their members of Congress urging their support. We’re also grateful to the 215 senators and representatives who championed this bill, especially its lead sponsors, Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) and Chris Murphy (D-CT) and Representatives Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) and Paul Tonko (D-NY). We also extend our thanks to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Representative Jennifer Wexton (D-VA).
