I absolutely love this for the team and the community. After recent sponsorship stumbles, Tillamook is a brand that resonates with fans, has a clever history sponsorship with the Portland Timbers and doesn't have the potential gotchas that the short lived DaBella's sponsorhip had. I do wonder if it is a great deal for Tillamook? I'm assuming the price of the deal was greatly discounted over league averages. https://lnkd.in/gR7Sn_xC Usually, I think of this level of sponsorship as a tool to build brand recognition and market share in your backyard (JELD-WEN's stadium sponsorship) or to defend your backyard against a rival (Alaska Airlines, the previous kit sponsor trying to fend off Delta). Locally, Tillamook has no shortage of brand affinity, nor does it seem to have a significant rival in the Portland market. Does Major League Soccer have a big enough national or international footprint for sponsorship to help build brand preference in Tillamook's growth markets? If nothing else it does give then a great platform to launch new products and grow adoption of secondary products like ice cream. Based on personal experience, I do know that soccer fans like cheese and ice cream. Even with the Timbers loss yesterday, I celebrated with some Tillamook after the game.

LOOKING FOR FEEDBACK, I am trying to build a method of Giving for Donation ideas, and here is one I have come up with, where I am contacting companies that are Bee or Honey associated because our main character is a Bee. what are your thoughts? Hi, we are a nonprofit organization, in Fresno, for the prevention of abuse by educating through Play and Entertainment. We have cartoon/comic characters that are called the Bugillagers. Our main character is named RowJoeBee and his best friend is SemBelAnt. We are considering setting up a donation page based on naming the various characters that will be used in the comics and cartoons that we will be producing. Would you, as a BEE based company, consider donating to our cause, for the privilege of naming A Bee for our stories, A Queen for our stories, and/or a Hive for our stories? Or for a larger donation, create the personality for that character? Or even our other insectile characters. We are considering setting up a page on our site, that would automate such a Donate/Name feature, but we need to know if it would actually be viable as a method of getting involvement? PPAI, a non-profit trade association, conducts consumer studies to provide an inside look at how people engage with promotional products, what they think about them, and why they work as an advertising medium. In PPAI’s 2021 Consumer Study Report, 94% of participants said they like receiving promotional products. Promotional products also make experiences more enjoyable, according to 83% of participants.
