There is a difference between hiring a Veterans with #industryexperience and #transitioningservicemembers. Veterans with IE historically have had an unemployment rate a full percentage lower than their non-Veteran peers. So the population of #veterans that look like me - is COMPETITIVE! That's why leaning into targeting the 240K people who leave their #activeduty service is vital to a successful #veteranhiring program. All of those Veterans with IE - their #transferableskills and #technicalskills are cloned in the military. By not targeting Veterans via #engagement or #branding, you're missing out on finding the gems in your current organization, and molding them into the future of your company. #veteranshelpingveterans #veteranhiring
