There's countless reasons why clicking the link to my interview with Mark Harrison, CEO of the Australian Prostate Centre, incorporating RULE Prostate Cancer could be a lifesaving listen. Here's at least 5, covered in our conversation, about PROSTATE CANCER, which we hope become as common, effortless and well informed as other cancers, that could lead to saving lives of so many men. ✔ Most men who are diagnosed with prostate cancer have no symptoms. ✔ Men should start testing for prostate cancer when they are 50 years old, or 10 years younger than the age a first-degree relative was diagnosed with prostate cancer (father or brother). ✔ A digital rectal examination is no longer a routine test with your GP. The first test for prostate cancer is a PSA blood test, taken in the same way as a standard blood test. ✔ The risk of prostate cancer increases from age 50. ✔ There are a range of treatment options for prostate cancer. Many men are carefully monitored, without needing treatment. Thank you, Mark, for sharing such incredible insight, experience and inspiration around taking action to reduce the impacts of Prostate Cancer, a disease that effects more than 200,000 Aussie men and kills at least 9, everyday. You are a true Legend 💙. #prostatecancer #menshealth #funding #policy #malesuicide #governmentfunding #mensmentalhealth #erectiledysfunction #incontinence #masculinity

Early detection is the key, and that means a visit to the doctor for a PSA blood test. No big deal - just do it please. My prostate was removed 14 years ago. Life is good, so make the most of every day.
