The power of patience in customer success... Truth be told, there are single customers that will really improve your customer base and value so much more than so many others. Whenever we identify such customers, the pressure and our adrenaline to get them onboarded keeps rising constantly over every single second. I understand this hunger as a CSM and Account Manager. However my advice is that whenever you get to this point remember that great things often take time, if you have the chance be absolutely prepared to seal up the deal, but if it's lingering, keep your cool, be patient and persistent, eventually and hopefully you will get it. What if you eventually don't get them? Well maybe they were never yours, maybe but all the same you sold your professionalism to them, that alone can bring them back or even get you greater recommendations tomorrow. Yes they often come back effortlessly after a while. I continued the Aspireship Customer Success Foundation course. I learned some metrics and terminology in Customer Success Management. They include; - Lifetime Value (LTV). This represent the total amount of money a company will make from a customer for the life of their relationship. LTV = Average MRR / Churn% MRR - Monthly Recurring Revenue. - Churn. This refers to customer cancellations, downgrade of license, etc. - Health doesn't always mean happy. Every customer may not be happy but their success should be the focus. - Optimize lifetime value. This can be achieved by helping the customer achieve their desired outcome. - No business. The lifetime value of a customer should significantly exceed the cost of acquiring the customer, if not the company have no business. #customersuccess #customersuccessmanager #customersuccessmanagement #Aspireship
