PLEASE READ JOB ADVERTS & APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS before applying. One thing I have noticed over the years done by many job seekers is they DO NOT read the full job advert or application instructions but just go ahead and apply. Frustration then sets in when after sending so many applications, no positive response is received. An example - Last week we advertised for Qualified Agronomist with maize cropping experience. Very specific. We received applications from people who neither have qualifications nor ever worked in agronomy space or maize cropping in fact have never even worked in an agro environment. When you see an advert don't just focus on the position title. Go through each job spec, duties, responsibilities. Go through qualifications required and then read how they want the application to be done You are causing your own frustration. I acknowledge that people are desperate for jobs but surely applying for a job as a Civil Engineer when you have never studied, or worked as a civil engineer won't help you at all #recruitment
