Disclaimer: Loud volume alert 🔊 Health-conscious individuals understand that protecting our environment is part of a healthy lifestyle. A health-conscious person should always be a plastic-conscious person. As LinkedIn's educated community, we have a unique opportunity to lead by example and educate those around us about the harmful effects of daily plastic use. Let's commit to reducing our plastic use for the sake of our health and the environment. Here are some impactful changes we can implement: 1. Refuse Plastic Bags: When shopping, always bring your own reusable bags. 2. Host Plastic-Free Events: For family gatherings, reduce balloon usage, avoid disposable cutlery, and opt for eco-friendly party favors. 3. Sustainable Party Favors: Replace traditional birthday return kits with useful items like reusable pencils, instead of the usual crayons that often go unused. 4. Bring Your Own Water Bottle: Reduce PET bottle consumption by carrying a reusable water bottle. 5. Choose Eco-Friendly Hotels: When booking accommodations, select hotels that offer glass water bottles instead of plastic ones. 6. Avoid Plastic Bags for Appearance: Many shoppers in malls take carry bags just to look good. Instead, carry stylish reusable bags that are both practical and environmentally friendly. Numbers to Consider: * Over 1 trillion plastic bags are used worldwide annually, with less than 5% being recycled. * Each reusable bag can save over 500 plastic bags in its lifetime. * Approximately 8 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year, affecting marine life and ecosystems. Together, our small steps can lead to significant impacts. Start today by making small changes that lead to a big impact! Let’s make a difference! 🌱🌊 Voice Credits: clip 1: (scream) Kaantara movies clip 2: (Yakshagana inspired message) Well wisher of the oceans. #WorldPlasticBagFreeDay #Sustainability #EcoFriendly #PlasticFree #EnvironmentalResponsibility

It is better if by govt order the factories manufacturing plastic bags, tissue papers using so many trees, and small plastic bottles for juices are shut down. It is bad for enviornment and as a responsible being for planet, extreme measures are required.
