You don't have to have a sophisticated channel strategy with millions of dollars in program and software spending to have a partner program. Creating a partner strategy is something every founder should be thinking about from day 1. Just as the rest of your Go To Market will eb and flow so too will your partner strategy. You don't have to be listed in a marketplace. You don't have to have reseller agreements setup. You simply have to recognize your value gaps and the value gaps of the other companies in your ecosystem. Then start creating value bridges with those companies.
