We worked with the City of Stevens Point to renovate the KB Willett Facility, adding new team rooms, renovated locker rooms, a training room/game-day trainers’ space, expanded office space for the Parks & Recreation department and additional storage for Parks & Recreation. Last month at Merrifield City, we celebrated the opening of the Paul Sadler Swimland and the topping out of our new four-level commercial building - set to open later this year with Green Leaves Childcare, Jetts fitness gym, allied health services, office spaces and more. The Paul Sadler Swimland is a fantastic addition to the sports and recreation amenities already serving the Merrifield community and supports the shared vision of MAB, Gibson Property Corporation, and QIC Real Estate, to deliver a vibrant town centre in Melbourne’s north. KEEP YOUR 👀 PEELED because very soon we’ll be sharing exciting news about the different places where our core delivery will be popping up across the summer 🥳 Things I’ll miss about our current home: * dreaming into the stunning treetop views across the city through our windows * watching the baby seagulls growing their wings on the rooftop opposite * the amazingly soundproofed walls * the natural warmth created from being in an eco-designed building * the wonderfully caring and friendly Millfields team * having access to other cool spaces in the building * chatting with other Genesis residents * being in a fully accessible building with a lift * having several parking spaces of our own The only thing I won’t miss about our current home is the overtly ‘office-aesthetics’ feel of our space and our positioning at the top of the building, which together has created a degree of invisibility for our presence in the city and participants getting a sense of ‘that’s not for me - I don’t belong here’. However it’s not like we came into this with our eyes closed, I mean what else did we expect coming into an office building 😜 so it’s been a great learning curve for us about where we do want to be as a permanent base in the future. #carenestplymouth #relationalwellbeing #mindfulness #communitycircles #quietspaces #movinghome
