I'm calling in more financial opportunities to bring Neuroplasticity & Resilience tools to organizations dealing with burnout, narcissism, moral injury, and lack of focus/effectiveness. I have developed a dynamic learning experience that I've brought to scientists at RAND, reporters at ABC News, marketers at 72andSunny, Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and many more public and private organizations. I've also shared Neuroplasticity Playshops with university students at Pepperdine University Loyola Marymount University and San Jose State University. I recommend getting ahead of narcissism with the tools I bring to communities. I recommend making mental health a priority by investing in mental wellbeing. We don't have to always react, we can be proactive too. #mentalhealth #mentalwellbeing #organizationalwellbeing

Emotional security is as important as physical security!
Insights from people with lived experience across 5 continents highlight that media, language and anti-stigma activities could help combat mental health stigma and discrimination, but only with lived experience involvement. Researchers found that insensitive language and misinformation continues to reinforce harmful stereotypes about mental health conditions around the world. Tokenistic involvement of people with lived experience resulted in weak anti-stigma campaigns with little positive impact. Cultural Competency in Psychotherapy Did you know that there's a growing demand for increased cultural competency in psychotherapy? Studies show that many Black individuals express a greater level of comfort in seeking therapy from professionals who understand and respect their cultural background. According to recent surveys, over 70% of respondents highlighted the importance of cultural competence in their therapy journey. This emphasizes the need for mental health professionals to continually educate themselves on diverse cultural perspectives to better connect with their clients. Cultural competency not only fosters a more inclusive therapeutic environment but also enhances the effectiveness of therapy itself. Clients are more likely to engage and open up when they feel a genuine understanding and acknowledgement of their cultural identity. As we advocate for a more inclusive and diverse mental health environment, let's actively promote and invest in cultural competency training for psychotherapists. By doing so, we can bridge gaps, break down barriers, and ensure that mental health services are accessible and relatable to everyone. #NiaCcs #CulturalCompetency #MentalHealthMatters #InclusiveTherapy

The Need for More Specialized Therapists It’s disheartening that many mental health professionals aim solely to be clinical psychologists, thinking two years of clinical training gives them all the knowledge that the field of mental health functions around. However, even with 5 years of education and 2 years of clinical training, this isn't the same as being trained in therapeutic modalities. It prepares you to assess and diagnose clients with mental health issues but treatment is still a question even after Mphil clinical psychology. We need more therapists specializing in trauma, relationship issues, work-life balance, sexuality, neurodivergent and queer affirmed, and more. Psychology offers diverse paths—explore them, educate yourselves, and find your true passion. Many of us are here to help and guide each other Let’s build a more inclusive and supportive field together.
