Rehabilitation is a critical component of health care, benefitting people with a wide range of health conditions through all stages of life and during all phases of care. One-third of people will need rehabilitation at some point in their lives. 🏥🩼 Access to #rehabilitationservices is limited, however. Profound unmet needs exist, especially in low- and middle-income countries where #rehabilitation is often inadequately funded and overlooked during health planning and prioritization. 💡 In collaboration with the R4D-led Health Systems Strengthening Accelerator, the World Health Organization has published the first resource on #healthfinancing for rehabilitation, which addresses financing challenges and opportunities and offers guidance for decision-making. ⬇️ #healthcare #universalhealthcoverage #uhc
