Sales folks are manipulative. Unfortunately, this is the most common perception among consumers. We at iMumz have been building sales verticals differently from day 1. We are just following one simple rule. Talk to the folks only who came with an inbound request. This saves lots of time and energy for our sales team. This is eventually giving us a great conversion rate and ROI as well. Hard selling is always frustrating. What are your observations on sales in your company? Building a sales pipeline with only Marketing generated leads! Seems like challenge. Out-Bound/Sales generated leads might be hard, but they can help you have a new perspective on the ICP. I feel what will make hard selling exciting is hiring guys with strong conviction to the founder's vision. This way they can carve out the ICP pretty accurately in their minds and reach out with while maintaining better metrics.
How do you ensure to have a good number of leads in the pipeline and a good control over the revenue?

However, the classic sales line of urgency was still there: "Ma'am, you can avail of this price today, but it'll be gone tomorrow." With a decade in sales, I understand the daily pressure to close deals, but it's refreshing that your team didn't seem overly pressured. It shows you prioritize not unnecessarily pressuring your team to close sales.
