⚽ ⚽ ⚽ 𝐒𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐀 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐭? ⚽ ⚽ ⚽ I would be interested to hear the thoughts of my contacts in executive search, HR, and recruitment, as to whether the FA have got this right or not, in the apparent choice of Mr. Thomas Tuchel as next England football manager? The role specification in the graphic was very clear - with set minimum achievements. If that was the case, then any general fan or pundit would presumably come up with the same list of names eg. Guardiola, Klopp, Mourinho, Tuchel, Allegri, Ancellotti - there is probably just enough latitude ("delivering results") to include some of the other managers such as Carsley, Howe, Potter, even Ten Hag. So has the process worked, given that many of the above were simply not available, or did not meet the minimum standard? Have they appointed someone who matches the brief? And if so, how has it taken 3 months with a trolley dash over the last 3 days, given that Tuchel was available in July? Can playing with a False 9 last Thursday really have such a negative impact? It seems so. ❓ Genuinely interested as to whether this targeted search process has been well executed or not ❓ John Wakeford Marcus Beale Alex RAWlings Adrian Hitchenor John Pearce Mike Penny Steve Broadhurst Nick Roberts David Winterburn Hon.FIRP, FREC, FIoD James Sayer Lee Bhandal Joe Ingham Louise Knutsson Stephen Joyce Julian Woodman Chris Spencer-Phillips David Colgrave Derrick Watson Amy Luke Neil Whitaker Rafi Davies Martin Boyle Andrew Webster-Garvey Don Aitken Jack Hird Emma Robshaw Kim Iverson David Blair Paul Barron MBA Mark Freebairn #tuchel #fa #football #stgeorgespark #carsley #2026worldcup #englandmanager

The #football (#soccer) #Euro2024 in #Germany, the #Paris2024 #Olympics, the #Wimbledon #Tennis tournament are some of the amazing #sport events that are energizing this summer. #Sports represent a microcosm of society, and offer exceptional, quasi-experimental settings to respond to some (but not all!) #management #researchquestions (see Fonti, Ross, & Aversa, 2023). 📕 @Journal of Management Studies has advanced important theoretical contributions with #sport #data that JMS Associate Editor Paolo Aversa highlights some selected insights from these papers. ⚽️ In 1976, a study by Malcolm G. 🤔 How do you support & encourage young Talent to thrive? Access to opportunities is often a challenge. 💯 Young people need to try out new things. 💯 They need to explore and work out where their talents are. 💯 Giving them opportunities allows them grow & build in confidence. Rugby can sometimes be a challenge for some to try. 😬 It's not played at that many schools. 😬 It's a complex, contact sport with risks from concussion. 😬 It's eco-system doesn't always provide an inspiring future. 👏 Although England Rugby women's team have done a fantastic job recently of inspiring young girls to play - winning 3 grand slams in a row yesterday 👏 Over the past year it's been brilliant to have around 10 new players join our U15s squad at Tring Rugby Union Football Club. 🏉 They've wanted to come along and play with their mates. 🏉 They've had an enthusiasm and energy that has been infectious. 🏉 They've grown considerably as players in terms of skills and confidence. Picture: Taken from the Harrow RFC 10s development festival last weekend. 👏 Well played lads - it's great to see how far you've come. 🙏 Thanks to all the coaches in our squad - for being there week in week out to support the growth and development of our squad. RUGBY OR FOOTBALL???? (Answer in comments) Networking isn't always about talking business.... at the Network My Club lunch today the question above was the one that took over conversations. 👇🏻 At Engage to Succeed we always talk to leaders and managers about finding out what their employees 'Personal Passions' are. This helps to have non-work conversations and builds rapport talking about something they love. The football or rugby question can often be a good starter.... High amounts of PASSION was evident today when I listened to those that talked passionately about Rugby (Premiership & Internationals) and then those also talking about football. We talked about the Autumn Internationals at Twickenham, Premiership games (with the hammers loosing whilst Jack Beck ⚒️ was on holiday) and how the environments differed but were also the same with everyone being passionate about why they are there... to support their team. You are probably wondering what the split was so here it is 7-2 (to Rugby) Rugby = James Lambert, Louella Flooks, Kit Powell, Maddie Roff, Michael Dooley, Chris Simpson, Brandon Harris Football = Jack Beck ⚒️, Chris Copper Are the football fanatics going to pull this back or will rugby continue to storm ahead... simple vote below in comments of 'Football' or 'Rugby'. The event was hosted at Crawley Town Football Club and sponsored by Freedom Works Ltd, great location and superb buffet spread 🙏🏻... should have picked up the uneaten tray of sausage rolls, they were certainly my favourite 😀 Also, great to meet up with Peter Waller & Daniel Andersen-Tuffnell... more enlightening conversation around work.... never did ask are you football or rugby? I challenge you to find out what passion one of you colleagues, team members or boss has, then try talking to them about it more regularly and watch how rapport builds and how passionate they are when they talk about it. #Engagement #Wellbeing #PersonalPassion #LoveYourJob #LoveYourLife #Sport #Rugby #Football

AMAZON , Don’t destroy AMAZON Our forests are disappearing at an alarming rate. Over the past few decades, we've witnessed the devastating impact of deforestation, with millions of acres of lush, vibrant ecosystems being cleared for various purposes. This alarming trend not only destroys the natural habitats of countless species but also contributes to climate change, soil erosion, and the disruption of vital water cycles. It's time we take action to protect and restore our precious forests and oceans and finally Earth before it's too late. NATO or other Organizations are also responsible for protecting our forests and oceans and all humanity with peace . They should respect to all thoughts without considering racism and finally developing to keep our planet Earth . We have no other place to live as alternative except Earth . Let’s young leaders control future of our planet. NATO and Organization are responsible to bring peace not to manufacturing war guns and tools . We are all in one ship . Please don’t make hole our ship .

As we celebrate the remarkable achievements of our Canadian Olympians, values like resilience, perseverance, and humanity shine through. Reflecting on their success brings to mind the pivotal role of coaches in shaping champions. At RBCIS, while we aren’t Olympians, we share some important attributes with them and together, we excel. I love this photo because it is an example of how this team combines in different ways to accelerate solutions. The photo is of a recent working team led by Ross Gardner, alongside Cesar Rainusso, Joel Kornblum, Rajiv Nambiar, Paul Burd (online) and Christine Knott. You can see from the smiles that we are doing what we love best - investing in our teams focusing on what truly matters - our employees and our clients. #Teamwork #Collaboration #ProblemSolving #ClientSolutions #RBCIS
