The Rugby Players Association, Restart Rugby, Premiership Rugby & the RFU are pleased to announce the launch of the Elite Player Support Fund. The fund will be administered and supported by Restart and financed by the RFU and Premiership Rugby, supporting current Premiership Rugby clubs, England senior men’s and women’s players and RFU contracted GB Sevens players. The fund also seeks to support retired players. The fund will provide: - medical treatment support for players who have retired in the past 12 months - mental wellbeing support for current and retired players via the RPA Confidential Counselling Service - a safety net for players and staff affected by any future insolvency events at their clubs Read more: https://lnkd.in/ei-6rhuj

Everyone at England Rugby is saddened to learn of the death of Colin McFadyean, the former England captain and centre, at the age of 82. McFadyean represented Bristol & Moseley, and played four Tests for the The British & Irish Lions during his illustrious career. Read more: https://lnkd.in/da_E3NJa
