Redbrickers across People & Culture, Finance, Marketing and Creative and Product attended the Toast Summit last week. The space at Platform Calgary was bursting with curious minds eager to listen to stories, reflect on tangible research and inspire solutions. Christine Tatham, our Chief People Officer, discussed how to stay ready in a fast-paced industry with a harrowing stat – nearly 50% of women leave the tech field by age 35. Thank you to Roselle M. Gonsalves, PhD from ATB Financial and Shanlee von Vegesack, JD, CFA from Fasken for facilitating, and to Clarabelle Freeborn from ATB Financial and Joanna Wynn from Helcim for diving deep. Each conversation across panels and fireside chats brought together thoughtful leaders who are passionate about addressing the big problems.
