As my doctor reminds me every year at my annual appointment: There is no magic pill to being healthy. You need to stay active at least 30 min a day! It seems so simple but we tend to let life and other things get penciled into the schedule instead. Recently I tried Pickleball. Apparently this sport is exploding on the scene with older adults and I can see why! It was fun and I was active and engaged and the hour passed so quickly! Find something that is fun that you can enjoy with friends and still get some exercise! It's a win win for the brain and body! #occupationaltherapy #falls #fallsprevention #safety
