Why do guests get upset at all-inclusive hotels? Even if guests can afford a pricey hotel, they don’t want to hear, “you'll have to pay extra for this.” Imagine a guest leaves their room in swim trunks, throws a towel on a sun lounger, dives into the water, and relaxes. Then a waiter approaches and says, “To use this pool, you need to buy a bottle of alcohol or a VIP bracelet.” The guest is forced to go back to the room for money or to the registration desk, feeling annoyed. In the evening, the guest dines at a hotel restaurant and gets a bill.
