We held an excellent town hall today for Körber Supply Chain Parcel North America. Our CEO Ananta Islam outlined our Northstar and the associated strategy to achieve it. We introduced our new Chief Sales Officer Lucas Watson and heard his initial impressions. Creighton Trull shared our approach to expanding our integration business, while Abu Kibria discussed our strategy to double our service business. Samantha Wommack emphasized the importance of becoming more customer-centric and agile. The town hall concluded with Hamid Salemizadeh highlighting our successful initiatives in the mail business and how structure ourselves to be even more successful in the future. Following the town hall, there were multiple roundtable sessions with our CEO Ananta Islam, allowing employees to meet him in person and discuss their concerns. I'm getting back on schedule. Today's Total Information AM business segment on KMOX | Audacy radio focused on good savings and bad savings. The good were represented by McDonald's $5 value meal redux which has sent sales soaring and brought about competing efforts by BK, Wendy's and even Starbuck's - with benefits for all of us hankering to grab a meal out. Bad savings was represented by the savings at any cost mentality McDonnell-Douglas brought to Boeing back in 1997, resulting in spun-off captive companies like Spirit Aerosystems and cost cutting efforts like the single MCAS sysem in the failed 737s. Boeing says they're changing their culture to put engineering ahead of savings, and we all can only hope they do. https://lnkd.in/gvWbAt68

2024 Has really been full speed ahead here at Lighthouse Drinks Just to give some background...We started Lighthouse Drinks with a humble 4-head filler machine in a small room, and today, our expansion has reached two massive warehouses and an incredible Polaris Automazioni srl bottling line. (might need another one very soon) From bottling just 2,000 bottles of whiskey a week, we now achieve an average of 60,000 to 100,000 bottles a month. This Year, we're on target to hit an incredible milestone: 1+million bottles! Our success is a testament to our amazing team, whose hard work and dedication have been instrumental in our continued growth. Together, we are supply our international/local customers with the finest finished products.
